摘要: An arc detection system includes an obtainer and a determiner. The obtainer obtains a measurement result for current flowing in a power supply line to which power is supplied from a DC power source. The determiner determines, based on a component of a specific frequency band in the measurement result for the current obtained by the obtainer, whether an arc fault has occurred. The determiner determines that the arc fault has occurred when a specific time for which the component of the specific frequency band is at least a threshold is longer than an occurrence time in which an arc can occur when a device is attached to or detached from the power supply line.

摘要: A contactor includes: at least one moveable contact mounted on a contact carrier; at least one stationary contact mounted on a housing; an electromagnet arranged to cause the contact carrier to move relative to the housing between a first position and a second position, and thus to cause the at least one moveable contact to travel from a contacts open position to a contacts closed position with respect to the at least one stationary contact; a sensor coupled to one of the contact carrier and the housing and arranged to detect an intermediate position, in between the first position and the second position, at which the housing and the contact carrier are located at a given moment in time as the contact carrier moves relative to the housing between the first position and the second position; and a controller connected to receive the signals from the sensor.

摘要: An electromechanical power switch device and methods thereof. At least some of the illustrative embodiments are devices including a semiconductor substrate, at least one integrated circuit device on a front surface of the semiconductor substrate, an insulating layer on the at least one integrated circuit device, and an electromechanical power switch on the insulating layer. By way of example, the electromechanical power switch may include a source and a drain, a body region disposed between the source and the drain, and a gate including a switching metal layer. In some embodiments, the body region includes a first body portion and a second body portion spaced a distance from the first body portion and defining a body discontinuity therebetween. Additionally, in various examples, the switching metal layer may be disposed over the body discontinuity.

摘要: An in-plane sliding parallel capacitive radio frequency (RF) switch includes a substrate, first to third drive components, an insulating layer, and a sliding component. Where a drive voltage is applied between the first and second drive components, the sliding component slides to the top of the first and second drive components; in this case, relatively large capacitance is formed between the first and second drive components and the sliding component, a RF signal is almost completely reflected, and the transmission is cut off. Where the drive voltage is applied between the second and third drive components, the sliding component slides to the top of the second and third drive components; in this case, no facing area between a first drive electrode and the sliding component exists in a vertical direction, the capacitance is rather small, and the RF signal may be transmitted basically without loss.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a MEMS element includes a first member, and an element part. The element part includes a first fixed electrode fixed to the first member, a first movable electrode facing the first fixed electrode, a first conductive member electrically connected to the first movable electrode, and a second conductive member electrically connected to the first movable electrode. The first movable electrode is supported by the first and second conductive members to be separated from the first fixed electrode. The first conductive member has a meandering structure. The second conductive member includes a first conductive region and a second conductive region. The second conductive region is between the first movable electrode and the first conductive region. A second width of the second conductive region along a second direction is less than a first width of the first conductive region along the second direction.
