The monolithic gas analyzer operates to separate and detect molecules from a gas; whereas, the temperature control unit is configured to control temperature inside the chamber.

摘要: An analysis apparatus column oven equipped with a plurality of columns is capable of efficiently performing heat conduction on column basis, recognizing a column cartridge that holds a column, and being easily exchanged on column basis. The column change mechanism includes a ferrule, a movable ferrule connector, a pipe, a fastener pull, a fastener fitting, a column cartridge presser, a slide guide, an RFID reader, a fixed wall, a column changer heat insulating member, a fixed bottom plate, a receiver, and a fixed fitting. A plurality of column cartridges can be installed in the heat block, and are in contact with the column heat block to control the temperature in the column cartridges. The column cartridge is fixed between left and right column change mechanisms, and when the fixed column cartridge is opened, the column change mechanism on the left side is moved leftward and opened.

摘要: An area monitoring device is placed in a location to monitor volatile organic compounds emissions. The device includes a gas sensor capable of detecting VOCs, a sorbent material capable of absorbing VOC molecules, and a heating element positioned in close relation to, or in direct contact with, the sorbent material. After a period of time during which the sorbent material absorbs VOC molecules, the sorbent material is heated to cause the sorbent material to release a gas containing VOC molecules. The amount of released VOC molecules is sensed and calculated. Data is compiled and analyzed. This is accomplished without removing the device from the location. A pump may be provided to force ambient air through the device.

摘要: Provided is a chiller and system that may be utilized in a supercritical fluid chromatography method, wherein a non-polar solvent may replace a portion or all of a polar solvent for the purpose of separating or extracting desired sample molecules from a combined sample/solvent stream. The system may reduce the amount of polar solvent necessary for chromatographic separation and/or extraction of desired samples. The system may incorporate a supercritical fluid chiller, a supercritical fluid pressure-equalizing vessel and a supercritical fluid cyclonic separator. The supercritical fluid chiller allows for efficient and consistent pumping of liquid-phase gases employing off-the-shelf HPLC pumps. The pressure equalizing vessel allows the use of off-the-shelf HPLC column cartridges. The system may further incorporate the use of one or more disposable cartridges containing silica gel or other suitable medium. The system may also utilize an open loop cooling circuit using fluids with a positive Joule-Thompson coefficient.

The detector includes a first unit and a second unit that alternate between collection mode and desorption mode. This allows one unit to collect the sample, while the other unit desorbs another sample before the units switch operations. The alternating collection and desorption modes allows the detector to generate a data point approximately every thirty seconds, with each alternating unit.

摘要: A supercritical fluid separation apparatus performs feedback control of output of a heater so that a separation part temperature becomes a set temperature, based on both output of a first temperature sensor that measures a heating block temperature and output of a second temperature sensor that measures the separation part temperature. When a difference between the separation part temperature and the set temperature is large (equal to or more than a predetermined value), output of the heater is adjusted based on the heating block temperature. When a difference between the separation part temperature and the set temperature becomes small (less than a predetermined value), the output of the heater is adjusted based on the difference.
