摘要： A dewatering device for aggregate product can be used to retro-fit existing aggregate product dewatering facilities in order to more efficiently capture product. The dewatering device can be movable to allow for the portability of the device relative to existing dewatering facilities. The device is adapted to receive a slurry of aggregate product and water and to vibrate to dry the aggregate product. A recycle system is included to receive any fines that may otherwise be lost by the system. The recycle system captures the fines and redirects them back towards the vibrating process of the vibrating device to direct them towards an exit of the vibrating device in order to use said fines as well as the other dewatered aggregate product. The portability of the device allows the device to be used with the existing facilities without the need to completely replace existing components for dewatering aggregate product.

摘要： An energy-saving type solar-heated drying apparatus for drying various types of matter, which utilizes a drying room surrounded by a solar-heat transmitting/absorbing wall. In the drying room, the matter is deposited on an elongated drying cage while exposed to a dry hot air produced by the solar heat. During drying treatment of the matter, the matter is moved from a supply side of the drying cage to a discharge side of the same in a longitudinal direction of the drying cage by means of a stirring/mixing transporter by which the matter is stirred/mixed while moved from the supply side to the discharge side of the drying cage. The dry hot air produced in the drying room under the influence of the solar heat is drawn into the drying cage, passing through the matter deposited thereon so as to evenly and effectively dry the matter.

摘要： Particulate treatment apparatus includes structure defining a particle treatment zone including a conveyor defining an imperforate lower particle treatment zone boundary. A chamber above the particle treatment zone receives a body of liquid, and means are provided for creating a zone of vapor within the chamber above the body of liquid. Nozzle tubes extend through the lower wall of the chamber and are disposed along the length and across the width of the treatment zone. The upper ends of the nozzle tubes extend above the level of liquid in the chamber while the lower ends of the tubes are disposed adjacent the imperforate transport surface of the conveyor. Vapor flows from the vapor zone through the tubes downwardly against the conveyor surface and fluidizes particles on the conveyor with concurrent vapor exchange so that the particulate material entrains a substantial amount of vapor as it is transported through the treatment zone.

摘要： An improved method and apparatus for forming chopped glass fiber strands is disclosed. The improvement comprises a vibratory conveyor under a drying apparatus for said glass fiber strands which is insulated such that cold spots do not develop on the tray adjacent the glass fiber strands. Preferably, the tray is formed of two sections, one inside the other, having an airspace therebetween along their lengths and having a spacer between the lips of the sections.

摘要： A washer uses a vibrated feed element having a pile material on its upper surface so that resilient resin bristles of the pile incline from the vertical toward the direction of feed and vibrate against objects to move the objects through the washer. Spray nozzles direct a liquid washing spray against the objects, and a through opening in the feed element allows the washing liquid and material washed from the objects to flow into a drain underneath the feed element. The pile has a groove pattern to aid the flow of washing liquid and material washed from the objects to pass through the pile and through the openings in the feed element to the drain. A dryer having a similar vibratory pile feed element can receive objects from the washer and blow warm air on them to dry them off, and the pile feed elements simplify the feeding and facilitate the washing and drying in the relatively harsh and wet environment.

摘要： A reciprocating grate conveyor such as that used in a heat exchanger particularly adapted for cooling granular material such as cement clinker with the improvement of an apparatus for balancing the load on the drive mechanism. The conveyor includes a series of grates with movable grates alternating with fixed grates. The grates are mounted on a frame which is secured to wheels which ride on incline tracks. Means are provided for reciprocating the frame and thus, the movable grates. A weight arrangement is pivotally connected to the conveyor support structure for exerting a force on the movable grate support frame in the direction of material movement.
