摘要: A vibrating fluid bed dryer includes a first dryer stage including a first fluid bed air distribution plate mounted therein, and also includes a first air inlet. A a second dryer stage that includes a second fluid bed air distribution plate mounted therein is positioned to receive material from the first dryer stage. The second dryer stage includes a second air inlet. A drive assembly is coupled to vibrate the first dryer stage and the second dryer stage. The first dryer stage may be coupled to a source of cooling air and the second dryer stage may be coupled to a source of warming air, or vice-versa, or both dryer stages may be coupled to a source or warming air or cooling air.

摘要: A method and an apparatus for performing charging port detection control are provided, where the method is applied to an electronic device, a communication port of the electronic device has a functionality of obtaining power from an external power source for the electronic device, and a power path switching unit of the electronic device is arranged to control electrical connection between a system within the electronic device and a battery of the electronic device. The method may include the steps of: performing charging port detection; and control operation(s) according to the charging port detection. For example, the method may include: controlling the power path switching unit to have different configuration according to the charging port detection in order to charge the battery with different charging profiles; and detecting the system voltage level during charging for switching from the constant current mode to the constant voltage mode.

摘要: A cuttings processing system for treating cuttings produced while drilling wells using a drilling mud containing a hydrocarbon and a method for using the same are disclosed. The processing system can include a fan, a solids removal system, a heater, and a spin flash drying chamber. The fan can be configured to circulate the vapor within the system. The solids removal system can be configured to remove particulates from the vapor to provide filtered vapor. A heater is provided to heat the filtered vapor into the superheated region. The heater can be associated with the solids removal system to receive the filtered vapor therefrom. The drying chamber is configured to receive the cuttings. The drying chamber is connected to the heater to receive the superheated and filtered vapor therefrom to promote the emitting of the vapor from the cuttings. The drying chamber is connected to the solids removal system to convey the vapor and dried particulates thereto to form a substantially closed loop.

摘要: An apparatus for heating and/or cooling a plurality of particles including a generally circular bed for holding the particles, the bed having a substantially centered annular inner bed wall, an outer bed wall and an irregular bottom. The apparatus also includes a drive mechanism rotatably affixed to said bed, where rotation of the drive mechanism at a predetermined rate produces a displacement of the bed horizontally and vertically resulting in a particle flow in the x, y and z directions. The particle flow in the x and y planes for a majority of said particles is in a dominant direction. The apparatus also includes an airplant which provides a heated and/or cooled airflow tangentially into the bed in a direction opposite to the dominant direction.

摘要: A mixer-granulator drier comprises a mixer-granulator having main and auxiliary mixing-granulating blades mounted in a vessel forming the main body so that both the blades are revolved to accomplish mixing and granulation of powders as desired. The bottom plate of the vessel is formed with a number of slots, a valve mechanism for opening and closing the slots are located adjacent the slots, and a drying-air supply device is provided for supplying the vessel with drying air through the slots. This combination apparatus performs mixing, granulation, and drying of various drugs, foods, chemicals, etc., in a single vessel automatically and continuously. The apparatus is easy to disassemble for thorough cleaning and sterilization.

摘要: A process and apparatus for fluidized bed operations wherein the fluidized bed includes an upper fluidized zone and a lower fluidized zone, with each of the upper and lower fluidized zones equipped with agitating means therein. Positioned intermediate the upper and lower fluidized zones are a plurality of tubular zones. Substantially parallel to the fluidized zones is a discharge leg positioned to receive fluidized solids from the lower fluidized zone in which the fluidized solids are fluidized in the leg at a level substantially equal to the level of fluidized solids in the upper zone whereby a portion of the solids can be removed from a repositionable discharge means in the discharge leg. The process involved in this invention utilizes a fluidized system for starch drying wherein the moisture content of the starch supplied to the fluidized bed is controlled to a level not exceeding 27% whereby the fluidized bed can be operated at higher temperatures without damaging the starch.
