Abstract: Systems and methods for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems with outdoor units having grills forming a support structure are provided. For example, an HVAC system may have an outdoor unit having a grill with vertical struts and horizontal struts which form one or more support structures, which may be in a rectangular shape for example. The support structure may receive a hook, clip, or other support portion of an HVAC maintenance device such as a refrigerant manifold gauge system or other HVAC gauge system. The support structure may be oriented in a direction perpendicular to a plane along which the grill extends, thereby avoiding any damage to the components of the outdoor unit by the maintenance device. The support structure and drill may be designed to withstand the weight of the maintenance device without deformation or damage.

Abstract: The disclosure prevents a state where a liquid refrigerant is likely to be accumulated in an outdoor heat exchanger upon small load operation at low outdoor temperature during cooling operation. A junction part is disposed between a path and a liquid side inlet-outlet port, and includes a junction flow passage configured to cause a refrigerant flowing from the path to the liquid side inlet-outlet port to join and flow therein. A branching passage has a first end connected to the path, and a second end connected to the junction flow passage. An outdoor heat exchanger is configured to increase, upon decrease in load, a flow rate ratio of a refrigerant flowing to the branching passage to volume of a refrigerant flowing to the path.

Abstract: An air blowing from an outdoor unit passes through a vaporization filter installed to face an air outlet of an outdoor unit. The working water W is dropped from a water supply pipe above the vaporization filter, and the working water W flowing down from a filter constituent plate is collected in a water storage tank. The working water W is supplied to the water supply pipe by using a water supply pump. The working water W is circulated between the water storage tank, the water supply pipe, and the vaporization filter. The air blowing discharged from the outdoor unit and passed through the vaporization filter is deprived of the heat of vaporization, and the temperature of the air blowing from the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device is lowered.

Abstract: An outdoor unit of an air conditioner includes a compressor that compresses a first refrigerant introduced from an indoor unit of the air conditioner and a condenser that condenses the first refrigerant compressed by the compressor. A first driving circuit drives the compressor and a second driving circuit regulates a voltage of the first driving circuit. A cooling unit includes: a heat dissipation member that comes into thermal contact with the first driving circuit and the second driving circuit, and a refrigerant pipe that is provided in the heat dissipation member, and has a path along which a second refrigerant moves through the first driving circuit and the second driving circuit. As a result, it is possible to efficiently cool the first driving circuit and the second driving circuit.
