Abstract: A dimming mechanism, which is used for dimming a lighting unit and includes a fixed ball head connecting piece, a first adjustable ball head connecting piece, and a second adjustable ball head connecting piece; one end of the fixed ball head connecting piece is connected to the lighting unit, and the other end is connected to a support frame or lamp body; one end of the first adjustable ball head connecting piece is connected to the lighting unit, and the other end is supported on the support frame or lamp body; and a sliding slot is provided on the lighting unit, and one end of the second adjustable ball head connecting piece (1c) is slidingly connected to the sliding slot so that the sliding slot is, by means of the back and forth motion of the second adjustable ball head connecting piece, driven to rotate, and the lighting unit is, by means of the rotation of the sliding slot, driven to rotate so as to achieve dimming in a second direction. Further disclosed are a vehicle lamp module comprising a dimming mechanism, a vehicle lamp, and a vehicle. The dimming mechanism can achieve the miniaturization of the dimensions of the vehicle lamp module in the second direction, and can improve the precision of dimming in the second direction.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method, a device and/or a system of cast vinyl film and, more particularly, to a method and system to provide a repositionable translucent cast vinyl film with an air-egress adhesive layer. In one aspect, a method includes mixing a solvent based polyvinyl chloride (PVC) organosol with a stabilizer and an additive to get a desired shade of pellucid tint of a translucent thermoplastic stretch wrap film. Further, the method includes casting the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) organosol onto a film carrier and moving the film carrier through a plurality of ovens at varying temperatures to cure into a solid film. The cured solid film is laminated to an air-egress liner casted with a solvent-borne acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive to provide ease of installation. The adhesive includes an air release patterning to allow escape of air from back of the film while repositioning the film around a complex shaped surface.

Abstract: A light module for a motor vehicle, including a first electrical assembly on a first carrier, which harbours a plurality of branches that are connected in parallel, each branch including light sources, preferably light-emitting diodes. Abstract: A vehicular lighting apparatus is relatively small, low cost, superior in mountability, and offers a superior design. The vehicular lighting apparatus attachable to a front end of a vehicle includes: a composite lens element that is a light guide element constructed by molding a translucent resin substantially into a plate-like shape; a planar light-emitting unit that emits illumination light; an optical system that transforms planar light from the light-emitting unit into linear light and that causes the linear transformed light to be incident on a rear side face of the light guide element; and a diffraction lens formed on the rear side face of the light guide element on which the linear transformed light is incident, and condensing the linear transformed light. The light condensed by the lens means is emitted from a front side face of the light guide element onto a road surface in front of the vehicle.

Abstract: An automated headlight system for vehicles replaces the high and low beam with a continuum of beam patterns, with further variable spatial distribution of intensities and color spectrum. The digital-headlight is comprised of a controller, sensors and multiple, individually-controllable light-sources modified by optical-control elements to form narrow-beams which are then combined to create the overall headlamp beam. Utilizing real-time sensor data regarding beings, objects and vehicles in the way-ahead, as well as optional information on the driver, vehicle and environment, the logical controller dynamically adapts the headlight system's illumination so as to provide vehicle operators with optimal visibility while preventing discomfort-glare from reaching the eyes oncoming traffic or pedestrians.
