Abstract: An adsorbent system including an enclosure having a cavity defining a humidity-controlled environment and a body having or defining a channel therein. The body is coupled to the enclosure such that a first end of the channel is in selective fluid communication with an ambient environment and a second end of the channel is in fluid communication with the humidity-controlled environment. The system further includes an adsorbent material in the channel, wherein the channel and adsorbent material are configured such that inlet fluid flowing from the first end to the second end through the channel is flowable over at least a portion of the adsorbent material, and such that outlet fluid flowing from the second end to the first end is directly flowable over a majority of the portion of the adsorbent material that is flowable over by the inlet fluid, The system further includes a valve system positioned at or adjacent to or in fluid communication with the first end of the channel. The valve system includes an inlet valve portion that is biased to a closed position to generally block a flow of inlet fluid therethrough and that is movable to an open position when a pressure in the channel is sufficiently low relative to a pressure in the ambient environment. The valve system further includes an outlet valve portion that is biased to a closed position to generally block a flow of outlet fluid therethrough and that is movable to an open position when the pressure in the channel is sufficiently high relative to the pressure in the ambient environment.

Abstract: A one-step headlight restoration formulation is also provided that includes a polyurethane dispersion of aliphatic polycarbonate urethane present from 20 to 85 total weight percent, along with a wetting agent present from 1 to 4 total weight percent. A biocide is present from 0.005 to 0.5 total weight percent of the formulation. A carrier constitutes the remainder of the formulation. A kit for a one-step headlight restoration is provided that includes a wipe for applying said formulation to a headlight surface in need of resurfacing as a one step process. The process of using the kit includes removing a formulation impregnated wipe from an envelope and contacting the wipe with the headlight surface to apply said formulation by wiping evenly on a headlight lens surface to form a restorative film.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method, a device and/or a system of cast vinyl film and, more particularly, to a method and system to provide a repositionable translucent cast vinyl film with an air-egress adhesive layer. In one aspect, a method includes mixing a solvent based polyvinyl chloride (PVC) organosol with a stabilizer and an additive to get a desired shade of pellucid tint of a translucent thermoplastic stretch wrap film. Further, the method includes casting the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) organosol onto a film carrier and moving the film carrier through a plurality of ovens at varying temperatures to cure into a solid film. The cured solid film is laminated to an air-egress liner casted with a solvent-borne acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive to provide ease of installation. The adhesive includes an air release patterning to allow escape of air from back of the film while repositioning the film around a complex shaped surface.

Abstract: There are disclosed video systems and methods that use a camera in a lamp housing for a tractor-trailer. Within the housing is an electrical subsystem with a PLC interface and an electrical connector disposed outside the housing and adapted to connect to the trailer and draw power therefrom. A lamp mounted in the housing is connected and adapted to draw power through the electrical subsystem and emit light through a cover of the housing. The camera mounted in the housing has a field of view through the cover. The camera is connected and adapted to draw power through the electrical subsystem and to capture images through the cover and is further connected to the PLC interface. The PLC interface converts data from the camera and transmits the converted data through the electrical connector to the trailer.
