    Abstract: A flow control valve includes a valve body having a substantially cylindrical bore, and a substantially cylindrical valve element received within the cylindrical bore of the valve body to be reciprocatable. The valve body and the valve element define first and second chambers separated by the valve element. The valve body has a circumferential groove surrounding the valve element, and a plurality of radially-extending passage holes communicating with the circumferential groove. The circumferential groove and the passage holes form portions of the second chamber. The valve element has a plurality of radially-extending throttle holes for establishing communication between the circumferential groove and the first chamber. The flow rate of operation oil flowing between the first chamber and the second chamber via the throttle holes is changed through axial movement of the valve element. The passage holes and the throttle holes are circumferentially arranged in such a manner that even when one of the passage holes circumferentially overlaps one of the throttle holes, the remaining passage hole or holes do not circumferentially overlap the remaining throttle hole or holes.

    Abstract: A bypass valve for directing fluid flow, where the bypass valve includes a valve body with a notch in at least one end thereof and a spool seated within the valve body. The spool is rotatable within the valve body. One preferred embodiment of the present invention also includes at least one endcap attached to an axial end portion of the spool, where the endcap includes a protrusion extending thereon for preventing relative rotation between the spool and the valve body when the protrusion is positioned within the notch. A further aspect of the present invention relates to a bypass valve with a valve body including a plurality of ports and a generally cylindrical inner periphery, as well as a spool seated within the valve body, where the spool is rotatable and axially translatable within the valve body. The spool further preferably includes a top seal seated upon a seal seating surface, where the top seal acts in one mode to block a service inlet port, without blocking the other ports, or, in another mode, blocks the service inlet port and the service outlet port, without blocking the other ports.

    Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a changeover valve which is capable of preventing granular material from being crushed when the granular material is transported by gas through a pipe system, and more particularly a changeover valve which is capable of preventing grain from being crushed, broken, and chipped when the grain such as rice is transported by gas through the pipe system. It is another object of the present invention to provide a gas transportation pipe system for grain to which the changeover valve is applied. The changeover valve according to the present invention comprises: a valve disc in a cylinder shape including on a side part thereof a through passage which is connected to transportation passages on an upstream side and a downstream side and which is in an eccentric position deviated from a center of the cylinder; a casing for rotatably accommodating the valve disc therein; and a pair of discharge passages which are provided in the casing and connected to the through passage of the valve disc, and an inside diameter of an introducing passage of the changeover valve at an output end thereof is smaller than an inside diameter of the through passage of the valve disc and an inside diameter of the introducing passage in an output side part has a shape gradually decreasing in size toward the downstream side while an inside diameter of each of the pair of the discharge passages at an input end thereof is larger than the inside diameter of the through passage of the valve disc and an inside diameter of each of the pair of the discharge passages in an input side part has a shape gradually increasing in size toward the upstream side.

The main body is connected to the water faucet by the connection portion and is provided with a slide slot, a water discharging channel, and a water discharging cell. The slide slot is provided with a connection duct in communication with a water filter. The switch rod is provided with a small diametrical portion and is slidably disposed in the slide slot such that the small diametrical portion and the slide slot form together a water slot. The switch rod is provided with four washers, two of which are used to separate the flow paths of the water discharging channel and the connection duct, with other two washers serving to make the switch rod and the slide slot leakproof. The water discharging cell is provided with a centrally-located water hole.
