摘要: A speed-change mechanism includes an output shaft on which a transmission module and a speed step-up module are mounted. The transmission module includes a driving roller that drives the output shaft in a single direction. The speed step-up module includes a connecting gear and a speed step-up gear that are rotatably and fixedly mounted to the output shaft, respectively, and a planet speed-change wheel assembly arranged therebetween. The speed step-up module includes an arrestor assembly. At a low speed, the planet speed-change wheel assembly is idling as being set in an orbiting motion and input power is suppled through the driving roller driving the output shaft in the single direction; and at a high speed, the arrestor assembly stops the orbiting motion of the planet speed-change wheel assembly to allow the speed-change gear of the planet speed-change wheel assembly to switch to a spinning motion to step up the speed.

摘要: A drive-train for a vehicle with at least one electric drive, which can be coupled via a driveshaft (2) to at least a first transmission ratio stage (i1) and a second transmission ratio stage (i2). At least one shifting mechanism is provided for engaging the transmission ratio stages (i1, i2). To carry out powershifts, the shifting mechanism includes at least one interlocking shifting element (5) and at least one frictional shifting element (6, 6A). Each of the transmission ratio stages (i1, i2) can be engaged by the interlocking shifting element (5) and at least one of the transmission ratio stages (i2) can be engaged both by the interlocking shifting element (5) and by the frictional shifting element (6). Methods for carrying out a powershift, between a frictional shifting element (6, 6A) and an interlocking shifting element (5) in the drive-train, are also disclosed.

摘要: A variable state planetary shifting transmission can include an input shaft, an output shaft; and a planetary system having a sun gear associated with the input shaft, a planetary carrier, and a ring gear associated with a ring housing. The transmission can include an overrunning clutch operably coupled to the planetary carrier. The transmission can include a clutch assembly coupled to the planetary carrier. The transmission is capable of changing the speed ratio between the input shaft and the output shaft by selective engagement of the clutch assembly against the ring gear which can cause either the freeing or locking of the planetary carrier by the overrunning clutch.

摘要: In an auxiliary planet-wheel gear for a motor vehicle, a drive drum fixed in terms of rotation relative to an outer central wheel, a shift sleeve connecting an inner central wheel to a brake located outside the drive drum, and an intermediate drive shaft fixed in terms of rotation relative to a planet carrier are arranged concentrically relative to one another. With reference to the main gear axis, the radially outer drive drum and the shift sleeve are each supported by a roller bearing relative to the centrally arranged intermediate drive shaft. The roller bearing of the shift sleeve is arranged offset axially in the direction of the brake in relation to the central wheels. Finally, the planet carrier is connected to an annular bearing extension for supporting the roller bearing of the drive drum. To obtain a construction which is short in the direction of the main gear axis, the drive drum has only a single roller bearing. This roller bearing, together with the associated bearing extension, is likewise arranged offset axially in the direction of the brake, in relation to the central wheels. Such an auxiliary gear is particularly suitable for driving secondary units of an internal-combustion engine.

摘要: A power transfer mechanism incorporates a planetary or epicyclic gear set which may be shifted between high and low-range conditions to establish torque proportioning and locked-up reduction drive modes. In the high-range mode, the carrier defines an input member and the sun and ring gears define output members. In the low-range mode, the sun gear defines an input member, the carrier an output member, and the ring gear a reaction member. A shifting sleeve includes relatively rotatable elements slidable together as a unit for establishing high and low-range conditions.

摘要: An actuator system and method (10) includes a blow out preventer (11), a hydraulic motor (12), a gear box (13) intermediate hydraulic motor (12) and blow out preventer (11), and a position indicator (14). Gear box (13) has an input (19), an output (20), and a gear set (23). Gear set (23) is biased by a spring (33) acting on a piston (31) to a default high range gear ratio when blow out preventer (11) is open, to provide maximum closure/lock speed. Gear set (23) is moved by a hydraulic command signal acting on piston (31) to a low range gear ratio when blow out preventer (11) is closed/locked, to provide maximum torque to move blow out preventer (11) toward its open position. Position indicator (14) shows the actual position of blow out preventer (11) independent of the number of turns of input (19) to move the blow out preventer.
