摘要: A noise abatement system including at least one fluid circulation chamber to receive at least one flow of fluid; at least one vorticity-inducing component adjacent to the at least one fluid circulation chamber, the at least one vorticity-inducing component to redirect the at least one flow of fluid tangentially to an inside perimeter wall of the at least one fluid circulation chamber to create fluctuations in a flow and pressure of the fluid causing increased and variable vorticity within the at least one fluid circulation chamber; and at least one vorticity-interaction region in communication with the at least one vorticity-inducing component to attenuate acoustics caused by the at least one flow of fluid.

摘要: An improved engine exhaust extractor improves internal combustion engine performance and efficiency. The exhaust extractor includes coaxial inner and outer tubes separating a flow into an inner flow inside the inner tube and an outer flow between the tubes and merging near the exhaust extractor outlet. Helically oriented vanes extend radially from an outer face of the inner tube and reliefs are cut into the inner tube to allow gasses to flow to the outer flow. The inner tube is held in place by end pieces connecting the inner tube to the outer tube. The end pieces include fan blades with wing shaped cross-sections to increase the velocity of exhaust gasses flowing through the exhaust extractor. The fan-like supports and helically oriented vanes cause the outer flow to rotate about a central axis. The exhaust extractor is constructed from only six parts requiring only two welds.

摘要: An exhaust muffler with a tail pipe for suppressing ripples, increasing an engine output and improving fuel consumption efficiency is provided. A chamber is provided in the middle of an exhaust pipe for an internal combustion engine. A tail pipe connected to an end portion of an exhaust opening of the exhaust pipe is provided. A plurality of fins are disposed inside the tail pipe in a spiral shape that is gradually widened toward a discharging direction of the exhaust gas. The chamber includes a cover body and an internal exhaust pipe surrounded by the cover body. The internal exhaust pipe includes a diffusion exhaust pipe having a wide bore and a compression exhaust pipe having a narrow bore. Diffusion pores are drilled on a portion of the side surface of the internal exhaust pipe.

摘要: A gas-turbine exhaust cone includes a cone shaped outside cone 1 closed in a flow direction, an inside cone 2 arranged in the outside cone 1 over at least part of the length of the exhaust cone, with the inside cone 2 being connected to the outside cone 1 via at least one helical partition wall 3, thereby forming an interspace 4 between the outside cone 1 and the inside cone 2. The interspace 4 is connected to inlet openings 5 at its inflow side and opens at an exit side 6 towards an interior 7 of the outside cone 1. A dampening element 8 is arranged in the outside cone 1 adjacent to the exit side 6 of the interspace 4.

摘要: A sound absorber comprises an elongated gas channel, through which a flowing gas passes in operation of the sound absorber; and at least one helical fixture mounted in a longitudinal section of the gas channel. The helical fixture defines a helical gas passage through the longitudinal section of the gas channel. 摘要: A communicating pipe is disposed on an outer periphery of an air intake pipe, and a conduit is formed so as to be parallel to an air intake passage. A plurality of first communicating apertures are disposed through the air intake pipe so as to be arranged in a single row in a conduit direction and communicate between the conduit and the air intake passage. A resonance chamber is mounted to the communicating pipe so as to communicate with a first end of the conduit. A movable member is disposed so as to be movable in the conduit direction by sliding in contact with the inner wall surface of the communicating pipe. A second communicating aperture is disposed through the movable member so as to be placed above the first communicating apertures. A communicating channel length between the air intake passage and the resonance chamber is adjusted by changing a position of overlap of the second communicating aperture relative to the first communicating apertures by moving the movable member in the conduit direction.
