摘要: There is provided a decorative sheet having high ink adhesion without using an oil-based ink having a high environmental load. The decorative sheet includes: a base paper; a thermoplastic resin layer provided on one surface side of the base paper; an ink layer provided on the thermoplastic resin layer of opposite to the base paper side and containing a water-based ink and at least one of a xylene diamine-based curing agent, a polycarbodiimide-based curing agent, and an aziridine-based curing agent as a curing agent; and a surface protective layer provided on the opposite surface side to the thermoplastic resin layer of the ink layer. The addition amount of the curing agent in the ink layer is preferably 1 part by mass or more and 30 parts by mass or less based on 100 parts by mass of the water-based ink.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for manufacturing thermoplastic poly(vinyl alcohol) derivative in a melt state reaction and a product thereof, wherein the method thermoplastic poly(vinyl alcohol) that has been dried is heated and admixed with an organic acid anhydride that has a catenated carbon structure which ends into a vinyl group, such that a mixture is obtained which is above the melting point of the mixture, thereby causing an ester bond forming condensation reaction in a melt state, wherein at least some of the organic acid anhydride reacts with hydroxyl groups of the thermoplastic poly(vinyl alcohol), such that reaction product is formed which contains carboxylic acid residue and thermoplastic poly(vinyl alcohol) derivative which contains ester bonded pendant chains of which at least some end into vinyl groups. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing a paper substrate and a product thereof, which contains a primer layer that contains the reaction product.

摘要: A heat sealable paper-based substrate is provided with at least the first surface covered with at least one primer coat and at least one topcoat over the primer coat, wherein: the primer coat is formed from a substantially wax-free aqueous dispersion of at least one polymer or copolymer, has a coefficient of thermal expansion equal to or less than about 200 μm/(m·° C.) for at least one operating temperature, and has a complex viscosity of at least about 80000 poises at a heat seal temperature; the topcoat has a different composition than the primer coat and is formed from an aqueous dispersion of at least one thermoplastic polymer or copolymer, and has a complex viscosity of at least about 3000 poises at a heat seal temperature. The heat sealable paper-based substrate can be used to make articles to contain goods such as cold or hot beverages or food products.

摘要: Clean version of the Abstract A preparation method of a heat-not-burn cigarette paper with boron nitride as a thermally-conductive filler incl tides: mixing po .ssiuxr oleate, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and water, thoroughly stirring under an ultrasonic condition, aging, and filtering until there is no precipitate; thoroughly mixing a resulting mixed solution with a softwood pulp and a hardwood. pulp to obtain a coarse pulp; and under stirring, adding boron nitride and calcium carbonate as a filler to the coarse pulp, heating to 60° C., and stirring for thorough mixing to obtain a pulp for sizing and papermaking. The present disclosure effectively improves the stability of a cigarette paper by improving a coefficient of thermal conductivity of the paper. Boron nitride, when used as a thermally-conductive filler in a thin-walled or paper product, enables high heat removal capacity. The preparation method retains the original whiteness and transparency of the cigarette paper, and provides high conductivity.

摘要: Treated substrates and methods of forming the same are provided. In an exemplary embodiment, a treated substrate includes lignocellulose and a polymer fixed to the lignocellulose to form the treated substrate. The polymer includes a succinic moiety that can reversibly change between a succinic anhydride and a succinic acid moiety. The treated substrate has a wet tensile index of about 3 newton meters per gram or less.
