    摘要: A method of directly producing copperized azo-dyestuffs of predetermined inorganic salt content is disclosed wherein an ortho, ortho'-dihydroxyazo-dyestuff is reacted with about one molar equivalent of a copper (II) compound consisting of from 1.0 to 0.1 molar equivalent of a non-salt-forming copper compound selected from CuCO.sub.3.Cu(OH).sub.2, 2CuCO.sub.3.Cu(OH).sub.2, Cu(OH).sub.2, CuO and mixtures thereof, and correspondingly from 0 to 0.9 molar equivalent of a salt-forming copper (II) compound selected from CuSO.sub.4, CuCl.sub.2 and Cu(NO.sub.3).sub.2. The disclosed method provides standard strength copperized dyestuff compositions at increased yields and without the need to precipitate the product from the reaction solution.

    摘要: Dyestuffs are provided which contain one or more 1,3-dicyanobenzene radicals linked to the dyestuff at the 2-, 4- or 6-position, with halogen substituents in both of the remaining two of these positions and an electron-attracting substituent in the 5-position. These dyestuffs reactively dye cellulose at low temperatures and are less prone to "acid-bleeding" than some known reactive dyes. More particularly, those dyestuffs have the formula: ##STR1## where D is a chromophoric groupn is 1 or 2, ##STR2## where R is H, C.sub.1-4 alkyl, C.sub.1-4 alkyl substituted by OH, OSO.sub.3 H, CN or SO.sub.3 H or is phenyl.Each hal independently represents a chlorine or fluorine atom occupying one of the remaining 2-, 4- and 6-positions of the benzene nucleus, and Y is H, F, Cl, CN, NO.sub.2 or SO.sub.3 H.

    摘要: A process for the photochemical stabilization of fibre materials made of synthetic polyamides, which comprises treating the fibre material with at least one water-soluble copper complex dye or with a mixture of copper complex compounds containing at least one copper complex dye, or containing at least one copper complex dye in combination with a water-soluble 1:2 cobalt complex dye, 1:2 chromium complex dye, or an azo, anthraquinone, nitroaryl or dioxazine dye.The fibre materials treated (dyed) by the process of the invention are distinguished by very high tear strength and elongation values after exposure to light or exposure to hot light.
