摘要: The present invention concerns a reactor for the conversion of carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide into hydrocarbon and/or alcohol comprising a support made from an electrically and thermally conductive material, forming the wall or walls of at least one longitudinal channel that passes through the support and also acting as the cathode of the reactor, at least one wire electrode forming an anode of the reactor, and extending within each longitudinal channel, and being arranged at a distance from the wall or walls of the longitudinal channel, each wire electrode optionally being covered with an electrically insulating layer along the part of the wire electrode extending within the longitudinal channel, a catalyst capable of catalysing a conversion reaction for the conversion of carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide into hydrocarbon and/or alcohol, the catalyst being situated between the wire electrode and the wall or walls of each longitudinal channel.

In an embodiment, the vessel comprises a support structure, a first floatation chamber coupled to the support structure, a second floatation chamber coupled to the support structure, the second floatation chamber laterally spaced apart from and fluidly coupled to the first floatation chamber, and a third floatation chamber coupled to the support structure, the third floatation chamber laterally spaced apart from the first floatation chamber and from the second floatation chamber. In an embodiment, the vessel further comprises a robot system coupled to the support structure, where the robot system comprises an end effector and a nozzle head coupled to the end effector.

摘要: Various aspects of an ion-gated nanochannel catalytic membrane reactor, disclosed herein. The ion-gated nanochannel catalytic membrane reactor includes a reaction unit comprising at least a plurality of reactants that react to produce one or more permeates at least due to activation by a catalyst. The membrane reactor further includes a separation unit including an ion-gated nanochannel membrane supported on a hollow fiber support. The polar permeates from the one or more permeates pass through the ion-gated nanochannel membrane and are separated in-situ. Multiple methods/processes using the ion-gated nanochannel catalytic membrane reactor for chemicals and fuels production are included.

摘要: The present invention specifies a process and a plant for production of a synthesis gas stream which makes it possible to produce the synthesis gas stream with a stoichiometry number suitable for the methanol synthesis or other syntheses. To this end an electrolytically produced hydrogen stream is admixed with a hydrocarbon-containing input gas stream and the resulting hydrogen-containing and hydrocarbon-containing input gas stream is reacted in the presence of oxygen to afford synthesis gas in a reforming step. The process mode according to the invention has the advantage that the electrolytically produced hydrogen stream need not be treated, in particular no oxygen need be removed from the electrolytically produced hydrogen stream. The invention further includes a process and a plant for production of methanol including the process according to the invention and the plant according to the invention for production of the synthesis gas stream.

The sweep gas supply unit for supplying a sweep gas for sweeping the product has permeating through the separation membrane to the liquid fuel synthesis unit. The sweep gas contains hydrogen or carbon dioxide as a main component.

摘要: A process for producing methanol, wherein a make-up gas stream from a reformer unit is admixed with a hydrogen-containing stream from a hydrogen recovery stage to obtain a hydrogen-rich synthesis gas, which is combined with a residual gas stream and the combined stream is passed through a bed of a methanol synthesis catalyst at elevated pressure and elevated temperature to obtain a product stream comprising methanol and the residual gas stream and wherein the product stream is cooled to remove methanol from the residual gas stream. Wherein a portion of the residual gas stream is removed as a purge gas stream and a portion of the hydrogen-rich synthesis gas stream is removed and combined with the purge gas stream to obtain a mixed synthesis gas stream and the mixed synthesis gas stream is sent to the hydrogen recovery stage to produce the hydrogen-containing stream.
