Abstract:
A method is provided for operating a textile machine having a plurality of work stations wherein, during normal operation of the work stations, a yarn is produced or is rewound from a delivery coil onto a receiver coil. The normal operation is initiated at the individual work stations after a stop of the textile machine, or is interrupted at certain time intervals by a service operation in the form of a piecing process, a tube changing process, or a yarn joining process. The service operations are divided into several partial sequences. A pending partial sequence for one of the service operations is carried out so long as energy resources required for carrying out the pending partial sequence are available independent of whether the energy resources for carrying out the other partial sequences for the service operation are available.
Abstract:
A reel and a method for use of same are arranged for supporting a cable drum. The reel comprises a reeling device for controlling the cable and at least one drive unit for provision of rotation of the cable drum for out- and in-winding of the cable, where the reeling device comprises two cable guiding portions which in a position of use are held at a mutual distance and connected to a reeling carriage by brackets arranged in each of the end portions of the cable guiding portions. At least one portion of the reeling device is releasably arranged to the reeling carriage so that the cable guiding portion or parts of this may be lifted out of, or displaced to the side in the framework, so that the cable drum may be removed from the reel.
Abstract:
A mandrel cupping assembly for releaseably engaging the unsupported ends of a plurality of mandrels supported on a web winding turret assembly is disclosed. Each of the mandrels is driven in a closed mandrel path about a web winding turret assembly axis. The mandrel cupping assembly has a cupping arm turret with a cupping arm turret central axis, a cupping arm cooperatively associated with each mandrel of the plurality of mandrels, and a first actuator for disposing the cupping arm from a hold-open position to a hold-closed position. Each of the cupping arms is disposed radially about the cupping arm turret and is carried in a radial orbital path about the cupping arm turret central axis while disposed in either of the hold-open position or the hold-closed position.
Abstract:
A creel magazine for continuously delivering packaged stranded material to a manufacturing process. A plurality of magazines linearly disposed in substantially parallel alignment are alternately supplied stranded materials fed to the manufacturing process from movable magazine cartridges supporting packages of stranded materials form either side of the magazine frame. The apparatus and method provide for sequential delivery of stranded materials from packages supported by cartridges at the sides of the magazines, intermediate replenishment of the depleted cartridges with cartridges loaded with replenished packages.
Abstract:
A roll paper holding apparatus includes a pull-out unit which can be pulled out and housed through an opening formed in a printing apparatus main body, a paper holding section which is provided in the pull-out unit and rotatably holds a roll paper in which a paper is wound into a roll shape, a contact body which is provided in the pull-out unit, and is openable and closable to the paper holding section according to a pull-out operation and a housing operation of the pull-out unit with respect to the printing apparatus main body, and an urging section which is provided in the pull-out unit, and urges the contact body opened to the paper holding section in a direction of contacting with a frame forming the opening of the printing apparatus main body when the pull-out unit is pulled out from the printing apparatus main body.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to systems and methods for the graceful removal of push feeds from a mobile electronic device. A server or the mobile electronic device may remove the push feeds automatically, without any instruction from the user, after the expiration of a predetermined amount of time.
Abstract:
The dispenser includes an enclosure for holding a plurality of paper rolls in stacked, substantially vertical relation. The front wall of the enclosure has an opening through which a paper roll may move to exit the enclosure. A tray is provided for retaining a paper roll as it moves through the exit opening. A section of the rear wall is inclined to guide a paper roll through the exit opening and into the retaining tray. A removable divider is provided to convert the dispenser for use with different size paper rolls. Brackets for rotatably mount a paper roll extend from the bottom of the enclosure for dispensing individual sheets. Removable decorative panels are provided for mounting proximate the front and side walls. The dispenser may be supported on a horizontal surface by the bottom, suspended from a vertical surface or hung from a door. Openings in the walls permit observation of the number of papers rolls remaining in the enclosure. In one embodiment, the front wall is provided with slots for removably mounting photographs.
Abstract:
A clamping device for clamping a yarn layer includes a clamping rail, a clamping comb that is insertable into the yarn layer, and a reed comb that is also insertable into the yarn layer. The clamping comb is provided with spaced apart clamping lamellae which each have a clamping edge facing the clamping rail for clamping yarn between the clamping rail and the clamping edge of the clamping lamellae. At least one of the clamping rail and the clamping comb are adjustable relative to the other so that the clamping rail and the clamping comb approach one another to clamp the yarn. The reed comb and the clamping comb are longitudinally adjustable relative to one another by an amount greater than the spacing between the adjacent lamellae of the clamping comb in order to deflect the yarn. A method of clamping a warp-yarn layer through use of such a clamping device includes positioning the clamping device on one side of a warp-yarn layer having a plurality of yarns, and moving the clamping device towards the warp-yarn layer to insert the clamping comb and the reed comb into the warp-yarn layer. The clamping device is moved while a clamping gap exists between the clamping rail and the clamping edges. Relative longitudinal movement is then initiated between the reed comb and the clamping comb to deflect the yarns of the warp-yarn layer so that the yarns cross the clamping edges of a plurality of adjacent lamellae. Thereafter, the clamping gap is closed to clamp the deflected yarn.
Abstract:
Trolley for loading rolls in a device for feeding a packaging machine, which comprises a device for supporting a row of rolls arranged mutually side by side, a conveyor for transferring the row of rolls along a direction which is axial with respect to the rolls themselves, and centering and locking longitudinal rods which are suitable to be coupled, during loading, to complementarily shaped seats which are correspondingly rigidly coupled to the feeder device.
Abstract:
An expanding mandrel for clamping a tubular member, especially a tubular core on which a paper web can be coiled in a machine for coiling the web or for supplying the web from a coil, has a pin with flat surfaces against which bracing elements support angularly equispaced segments in a cage which are pressed outwardly to urge convex surfaces of the segments against the inner surface of the core. Along longitudinal edges of the segments rounded rises or protuberances are provided which prevent stress peaks tending to damage the core.
