摘要： A baler (10) for wrapping a rotating bale (52) of crop material (16) with strands of twine (72) has two twine tubes (68) through which the twine is fed so that ends of the strands dangle from the tubes. A bale density sensor (36) senses bale density and a controller (42) compares the sensed density with a desired density selected by an operator via an operator control panel (34). When the sensed density reaches about half the desired density the twine tubes are moved to a twine insert position so that the ends of the strands dangle adjacent the rotating bale. When a full bale has been formed, the controller automatically actuates a duckbill (60) to push the ends of the strands toward the bale where they are caught up in the crop material. If either strand is not caught up in the rotating bale, a new wrap cycle is automatically initiated. The twine tubes are moved to a twine cut position, the twine is cut, the twine tubes returned to the twine insert position, and the duckbill is again actuated to push the strand ends toward the bale.

摘要： A packaging machine comprises a transfer device for inserting a product into a package and a circulating leaflet supply device comprising a plurality of tong-like holders which are disposed in a row, for receiving one leaflet each, and for bringing the leaflet into the region of the transfer device between the product and the package such that it can be inserted together with the product into the package. An opening unit with at least one stop is disposed in the transport path of the holders for opening the holders to release the leaflet. The stop can be adjusted in dependence on an opening signal of a control device between an operative position opening the holders and an inoperative position in which the holders pass the stop without releasing the leaflet. A first detector device is thereby provided for detecting the insertion motion of the product into the package and for transmitting a corresponding insertion signal to the control device when the product is being inserted, wherein the control device generates the opening signal only when the insertion signal is present.

摘要： Cutting devices are known in rectangular baling presses that can be taken out of operation so that cut or uncut harvested material is selectively pressed. However, this is disadvantageous since it is difficult to hold cut harvested material together with binder twine under high tension. A rectangular baling press is proposed in which the cutting device is taken out of operation at least at the start and end of bale formation so that the twine presses only against uncut material at the end of the bale. The cutting device may additionally be taken in and out of operation during formation of the bale so that upper and lower layers of the bale are also formed by uncut material.

摘要： A tablet detecting system ascertains whether a tablet exists in a receiving hole of a loader unit used for a molding tablet supplying apparatus or, if exists, whether the tablet has a standard size, by using a mechanical contact manner. The tablet detecting system has a push rod, a contact head, an insulation plate, a conductive assembly and a control unit. The push rod is inserted into the receiving hole and moves upward just as high as the tablet. The contact head is formed on a top of the push rod and the insulation plate is located over the contact head. The conductive assembly is formed in the insulation plate and the control unit is electrically connected to the conductive assembly. When the tablet in the receiving hole has a standard size, the contact head mechanically touches the conductive assembly and gives electrical connection to the conductive assembly, and the control unit senses the electrical connection. The conductive assembly may be a pair of conductive pads formed separately on a bottom surface of the insulation plate, or a pair of plungers inserted into a pair of cylindrical bodies each formed in the insulation plate and spaced apart from each other.
