    Abstract: A sensing-enabled automatically foldable scooter frame includes a support frame, a seat, an electric pushrod, a sensor, a controller, and an operating member. The electric pushrod is provided at the support frame to drive folding and unfolding of the support frame. The sensor is provided at a surface of the seat. The controller receives a signal from the sensor to control extension or retraction of the electric pushrod. The operating member is electrically connected to the controller. The operating member is disabled when the sensor detects existence of pressure, and the controller controls the electric pushrod in a retracted state, thereby ensuring the support frame in an unfolded state. The operating member is enabled when no pressure is detected, and the controller drives folding or unfolding of the support frame. The present invention can prevent a scooter frame from being folded accidentally, thereby protecting a user from being hurt.

    Abstract: A motorized device for transporting a human or inanimate payload. A platform is configured to accommodate the payload and a pair of wheel clusters are mounted to the platform at opposite ends thereof and are powered in rotation relative to the platform, for example by one or more electric motors housed in or on the platform or wheel clusters. Each of the two wheel clusters comprises three drive wheels arranged in a generally triangular and co-planar configuration, and each is independently powered about its respective axis of rotation by a hub-mounted electric motor. An electronic controller commands the motors powering the two wheel clusters and of each of the six drive wheels. The independent controllability of each wheel and of the wheel clusters relative to the platform allows the device to steer and to ascend and descend steps.

    Abstract: An electric scooter includes an arc-shaped body, a front frame disposed at a front end of the body, a front wheel connected to a bottom of the front frame, a folding mechanism connected between the body and the front frame, and a rear wheel connected to a rear end of the body. The electric scooter further includes a control device and a drive motor drive-connected to the rear wheel through a transmission shaft. The control device includes a controller, an electromagnetic brake switch connected to the front frame and configured to control a braking operation of the electric scooter, and an electromagnetic speed regulating switch configured to control a speed regulating operation of the electric scooter. The electromagnetic brake switch, the electromagnetic speed regulating switch and the drive motor are all connected to the controller.
