Systems, apparatus and methods for an accessory retaining device are described. According to various embodiments, a handle, shaft and flange are configured to provide a rotational interface. With the assistance of threading between the shaft and the handle or other components, rotation of the handle causes axial movement of the shaft and compression of a grommet located about the shaft or flange. Compression of the grommet results in radial expansion. In this way, the accessory retaining device is adapted to secure an accessory to a mounting aperture located on a vehicle or other device when the handle is in a closed position. This invention relates to a rock bolt and to its method of use. There is disclosed a rock bolt comprising an elongated bar and an elongated drformable member, with means to reduce the distance between the respective ends of the deformable member so as to deform at least part of the member away from the bar. The means to reduce the distance between the respective ends of the deformable member may be located at the distal end of the rock bolt or the proximal end thereof. Though the term nullrock boltnull is used, the bolt may be used as a ground anchor, or in other suitable applications, in which it is located in a hole drilled into earth as well as or instead of rock.

The fixing device is made such that it can be detached again so that the roof covering can be repaired, renewed, and reconstructed, if required, without causing significant damage to the sheet panel.
