    Abstract: The present invention relates to a fastening arrangement of a drive wheel (DW) for an endless track (E) of a tracked vehicle (V) the drive wheel (DW) comprising a hub member (H) and a drive sprocket member (S1, S2). Said drive sprocket member comprises a set of teeth (10) arranged around the circumference of said drive sprocket member (S1, S2), said teeth (10) being configured to engage with said endless track (E). Said drive sprocket member (S1, S2) further comprises a support member (20) for teeth (10) of said drive sprocket member. Said teeth (10) are configured to be removably attached to said support member (20). Said fastening arrangement is configured for fastening one or more teeth (10) of the set of teeth (10) to the support member (20). Said fastening arrangement comprises a set of dovetail shaped recesses (22) of said support member (20). Each dovetail shaped recess (22) is configured to receive a locking portion (12) of one or more teeth (10) so as to provide a locking function for said one or more teeth (10). The present invention also relates a tracked vehicle.

    Abstract: A vehicle drivetrain for a vehicle including a transmission configured to move the vehicle with a surface engaging traction member and a final drive assembly configured to drive the surface engaging traction member. The final drive assembly includes a drive assembly coupler. A transmission coupler is operatively connected to the transmission and disposed between the transmission and the drive assembly coupler. The transmission coupler includes a first position engaged with the drive assembly coupler and a second position disengaged from the drive assembly coupler. An actuator is operatively connected to the transmission coupler and is configured to move the transmission coupler between the first position and the second position. The actuator, in one embodiment, includes a worm drive having a worm gear configured to move the transmission coupler along a longitudinal direction of the transmission. The worm gear rotates about an axis inclined with the longitudinal direction.

    Abstract: A wheel-mounted drive system usable for a sprocket wheel of a chain-drive vehicle has a nonrotatable two-part housing adapted to be mounted directly and substantially immovably on the vehicle frame. A hydraulic motor is mounted in one part of this housing and has a motor output extending through the other part of the housing which contains a transmission whose input is connected to the motor output and whose output is directly connected to the drive wheel and to a brake. A bearing rotatably mounts the transmission output directly on the housing. The brake can be pressurized through axial passages extending through the main shaft of the motor. The transmission includes planetary gearing, and the motor, transmission, and output member are all rotatable about the same central axis.

    Abstract: In a track-type vehicle adapted for movement along a longitudinal axis thereof which comprises a track roller frame having a pair of laterally spaced outer and inner rails, a track which moves over said frame and about a sprocket and a final drive within a housing adjacent said sprocket, the improvement of protecting the final drive housing and the sprocket from accumulation of dirt and providing a mounting for the final drive housing.
