摘要： The invention relates to printed products which are folded once, twice or three times, are ejected by a rotary printing machine, or produced by a rotation, are stored temporarily, and then ejected by storage units. The printed products are folded essentially in the center and stitched optionally along the additional fold (F). They are then cut in such a way that the first folded edges (F.1) produced in the rotation, and optionally second and third folded edges (F.2 and F.3), are eliminated. In this way, multiple page stitched printed products are created, the printed products consisting of a plurality of sheets folded inside each other, and having a format that can be derived from the basic format of the rotation.

摘要： A method for operating a printing press, which enables a uniform print quality to be achieved during long periods of operation without replacement of the impression cylinder. The printing press comprises several printing units having impression cylinders and a sheet turning device disposed between the printing units. The circumferential surface of the impression cylinder has an ink-repelling surface. The printing press is used to print sheets, until the ink-repelling surface of the circumferential surface of the impression cylinder has been worn away to an extent that the ink-repelling effect is less than a predetermined threshold value, after which a foil, of which the side facing away from the circumferential surface has an ink-repelling surface, is removably placed on the circumferential surface of the impression cylinder.

摘要： A cylinder apparatus includes a cylinder body, support member, shaft, coned disc spring, air cylinder, and levers. The cylinder body is rotatably supported by a pair of frames. The support member is supported to be movable in a circumferential direction with respect to the cylinder body, and supports a suction head. The shaft is supported to be movable in an axial direction of the cylinder body. The coned disc spring biases the shaft in a first direction. The air cylinder moves the shaft in a second direction opposite to the first direction against an elastic force of the coned disc spring. The levers are swingably supported by the cylinder body and swing upon movement of the shaft to fix/release the support member with respect to the cylinder body.

In this way, the intermediate sheets prevent damage to the print on the printed sheets.
