    摘要: Disclosed is related to a printing device for performing a multi-color gravure offset printing operation in one rotation of a gravure offset roll for various shapes of printing material, and a method therefor. The printing device includes at least: a blanket roll having a cylindrical shape and moving in a first direction while rotating; an ink transfer unit including one or more ink transfer plates which is in contact with a lower end of the blanket roll; a squeeze unit moving in a second direction in a state in which one end thereof comes in contact with the ink transfer plate, wherein the second direction forms a predetermined angle with respect to the first direction or is orthogonal to the first direction. According to the present invention, an effect of enabling gravure offset printing in one printing cycle on various shapes of printing material is provided.

    摘要: Provided is a gravure printing method by which high printing density and excellent highlight suitability are obtained, even if a gravure plate having high resolution and reduced thickness is used. The gravure printing method comprises: using an aqueous ink having a Zahn cup #3 viscosity at 20° C. of 11.0 seconds or more and 20.0 seconds or less, and having an evaporation rate of 30 mass % or less in a drying test, the drying test involving drying 1 g of the ink at a temperature of 40° C. and an air flow of 1,400 L/min for 30 minutes; and transferring 1 ml/m2 or more and 7 ml/m2 or less of the ink onto a printing medium.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing of a tool for production of synthetic image devices comprises cutting (210) a surface structured plate, giving a respective first and second edge. The plate has geometrical structures—microimages or focusing elements—in a first surface. Cells comprising the geometrical structures have a predetermined period in a first direction. The first edge is brought (212) to face the second edge in a close proximity. The first direction of a first area of the plate adjacent to the first edge is positioned with a predetermined angle with respect to the first direction of a second area of the plate adjacent to the second edge. A relative translation in said same plane between the first edge and the second edge is adapted (214) for bringing a first cell border in the first area to a predetermined distance, relative a corresponding second cell border in the second area. The first and second edges are mutually fixated (216) and mounted (218) onto a cylindrical support. A tool for manufacturing of synthetic image devices is also disclosed.

A gravure offset printing method executed by a gravure offset printing apparatus includes a step of filling a groove on a gravure plate with a printing paste, a step of offsetting the printing paste from the groove on the gravure plate to the blanket, and a step of transferring the printing paste from the blanket to a substrate. The groove on the gravure plate includes a region having a width of 100 to 700 μm in a direction perpendicular to a print direction. The region has a leading end tapered forward in the print direction and a trailing end split into a pair of branches by a notch tapered forward in the print direction.

    摘要: A transferring layer on a transfer cylinder improves separability for facilitating complete transfer of ink from the transferring layer onto the material to be printed. This separability arises from the inclusion of a fluorine compound or a silicone compound in the transferring layer. In order to prevent incomplete transfer of ink from an intaglio printing plate to this transferring layer of the transfer cylinder, the printing speed of the transfer cylinder relative to the plate is controlled, and at the same time the viscosity of the ink is kept in a certain range. The use of a screen mesh is eliminated, thus preventing various problems associated with its use. A fine pattern of thick film can thus be printed with accuracy on various materials including fragile materials and those with surface irregularities.
