    摘要: A code selectable key duplicating system is adapted to function with a key cutting machine having a key follower for engaging and tracing the contour of a bit notch pattern formed in the blade of a master key and a key cutter coupled to the key follower to reproduce the traced bit notch pattern of the master key in the blade of a key blank. The code selectable duplicating system includes a bit notch simulator which is divided into a selectable series of n adjacent notch segments to form a surface contour creating a simulated bit notch pattern corresponding to the bit notch pattern designated by a coded sequence. An alignment fixture positions the notch pattern simulator relative to the key follower enabling the key follower to trace the simulated bit notch pattern such that the key cutter reproduces the simulated bit notch pattern in the blade of the key blank.

    摘要: In an arc welding operation seam tracking is accomplished by determining the level of infrared radiation in a selected bandwidth, from at least two points lying in a direction forward of the arc torch travel and on opposite sides of the seam. Signal levels from the infrared detectors are compared and the difference signal is used to laterally position the arc torch. In this way, automatic seam tracking is accomplished thus facilitating robotic welding processes.

    摘要: Provided is a comparator including: a substantially U-shaped frame; an anvil supported at one end of the frame in an advanceable and retractable manner; a spindle supported at another end of the frame coaxially with the anvil in an advanceable and retractable manner; a measurement unit that measures the advancement and retraction of the anvil; and a display unit that displays a measurement result of the measurement unit. The measurement unit includes: an anvil contact portion that rotates around a support shaft in accordance with the advancement and retraction of the anvil; an interlocking portion that is formed to have a length greater than the length of the anvil contact portion, is supported so as to be rotatable around the support shaft, and is coupled to the anvil contact portion; and a detection unit that detects a displacement of rotation of the interlocking portion.
