A first section may be disposed at an end of the tube and include a first inner diameter, a first outer diameter, and a first wall thickness. A second section may be separated from the first section via a first transition zone. The second section may include a second inner diameter, a second outer diameter, and a second wall thickness. A third section may be disposed remote from the first section and be separated from the second section via a second transition zone. The third section may have a third inner diameter, a third outer diameter, and a third wall thickness. The wall thickness, inner diameter and outer diameter may vary along the tube between the plurality of sections.

Roller arrangements for performing the method are also disclosed.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing a small thin-walled tube for a medical application or for a medical product, in particular for a stent, wherein a blank of an in particular bioresorbable magnesium alloy is deformed to produce a small tube, after which the small tube is used for medical purposes or from which the medical product, such as a stent, can be made. In order to be able to produce the small tube in one step and with high precision, it is provided according to the invention that a male die (2) with a base body (3) and a mandrel (4) tapered relative to the base body (3) and the blank is provided with a blind hole or an opening, wherein a diameter of the blind hole or the opening of the blank is equal to or greater than an outer diameter of the mandrel (4), after which the blank with inserted mandrel (4) with the male die (2) is pressed forwards at least in part through a female die (5) with a receiving region (6) and a contouring region (7), wherein the contouring region (7) has a free diameter, which is larger than the outer diameter of the mandrel (4), but smaller than an outer diameter of the blank, in order to form the small tube.

    摘要: The present invention is a method of constructing a rotary device which as an outer hub and an inner hub disposed within the outer hub. One of the inner and outer hubs is rotatable with respect to the other one of the inner and outer hubs about an axis. A ribbon of material extends between opposite ends and is roll formed to achieve a desired profile of an inner and outer peripheral wall of the inner and outer hub, respectively. The roll formed ribbons of material are each secured to maintain the desired profile and achieve the respective peripheral wall. The inner peripheral wall is inserted inside the outer peripheral wall such that the outer peripheral wall surrounds the inner peripheral wall.

    摘要: An apparatus for automatically inserting a plug in and to a predetermined position therein a raw pipe such as an aluminum pipe which is to be drawn for instance in a drawbench. The apparatus comprises a suppport roller which supports a plug-supporting rod at its intermediate portion near to an end of the rod, the support roller bearing a lower surface of the portion and being movable along the plug-supporting rod. The apparatus further comprises a pipe-transporting device for transporting the raw pipe, which device grips both ends of the raw pipe so as to move it towards the plug-supporting rod in a direction in alignment with an axis of said rod. A pusher protrudes forward from the pipe-transporting device so that the device starts to carry the support roller at a given instant whereby the raw pipe is prevented from directly riding the support roller and is thus protected from being scratched, and forcible pressing of the plug onto an inner surface of the raw pipe being also avoided.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for simultaneously producing multiple linear grooves on the internal surface of cylindrical tubes. The apparatus comprises an outer cage assembly with a mandrel assembly axially and slideably disposed therein. Additionally, each assembly is capable of independent nonrotational linear motion. The cage assembly is introduced into the inner diameter of the tube along their common cylindrical axis. A multiplicity of spherical roller elements, retained within circumferentially spaced ports near the entry end of the cage assembly maintain resting contact with the mandrel assembly disposed within the cage assembly. The entry end of the mandrel assembly is conically tapered to define a range of radial motion for the rollers upon linear movement of the mandrel assembly. This linear movement of the mandrel assembly generates radial expansion of the circumferentially spaced rollers into pressing contact with the pressure tube. Thereafter, linear nonrotational movement of the cage assembly defines the length of the linear grooves made by the rolling motion of the rollers upon maintained radial expansion. Variable radial expansion during motion of the cage assembly permits production of the grooves having tapered geometric profiles.
