Abstract:
System and method for cleaning an electrical delivery system. An embodiment of the self-cleaning electrical delivery system comprises a track having an abrasive surface and a brush operatively associated with the track, the brush moving over the abrasive surface of the track to remove debris from the brush. A tool for producing the abrasive surface is also disclosed.
Abstract:
This invention is a tool that is primarily used to remove or extract foreign debris from a seal and its contact surface. This tool is thin and flexible and is made up of various types of materials. This tool has a special shape and texture to help assist in the removal the said debris. This is a completely new idea and no other prior art exists.
Abstract:
This application claims the benefit of U.S. Provisional Application No. 60/402,897, filed Aug. 13, 2002. A foot and toe scrubber has an elongated handle and an elliptical, conical, rectangular, squarish or cylindrical scrubbing element attached at one end of the handle. The scrubbing element is an elliptical, conical, rectangular, squarish or cylindrical foam or sponge material having a plurality of grooves and/or cells providing an overall uneven, irregular surface. The foot and toe scrubber is configured so that the scrubbing element can be applied and moved between and about the toes, as well as other areas of the feet. Application of the scrubber head to, between, around and about the toes and otherwise on the feet is to clean between the toes and other areas of the feet.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for picking out laundry articles from a pile of laundry articles that are arranged in a transportable container that is upwardly open and has a downwardly configured bottom, from where lateral ledges extend upwards to the container opening, which apparatus comprises a frame on which a pull gripper is configured, and means for conveying the pull gripper down into the container opening to a lower position with a view to seizing one or more laundry articles, and subsequently to convey the pull gripper upwards above the container opening with a view to letting go of the seized laundry articles, and wherein the apparatus further comprises means for moving the pile of laundry articles located in the container in a direction towards the lower position of the pull gripper. The invention is characterised in that the means for moving the pile of laundry articles comprise means for positioning the container in relation to the lower position of the pull gripper, and means for lifting the one side of the container in such a manner that the container bottom and at least one of the lateral ledges of the container form a pair of side faces that inclined relative to the horizontal and converge to meet essentially vertically underneath the lower position of the pull gripper and thereby allow laundry articles in the container to successively slide underneath the pull gripper in pace with the pull gripper picking out laundry articles from the pile of laundry articles.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a foaming composition suitable for topical application, containing fibers and a surfactant system such that at least one direct hexaganol or cubic paracrystalline phase appears when the temperature increases beyond 30null C., where this paracrystalline phase remains present up to at least 45null C. The surfactant system preferably contains at least one water-soluble surfactant and at least one surfactant which is insoluble in water. It preferably contains at least one water-soluble soap. The invention compositions may be present in the form of creams and they have a good physical stability at ambient temperature and even up to at least 45null C. They can be especially used in the cosmetic or dermatological fields, as products for cleansing or for removing make-up from the skin, the scalp and/or the hair, etc.
Abstract:
A remotely operable closure device is disclosed. The device includes a base hub, a clamping mechanism, a closure mechanism, and a drive mechanism. The base hub is attached to a conduit and allows access to the conduit. The clamping mechanism is disposed about the base hub and is actuatable to clamp or unclamp about the base hub and a blind hub. The closure mechanism is movably connected to the clamping mechanism and is actuatable therewith to move the blind hub into or out of engagement with the base hub. The drive mechanism is remotely operable to simultaneously actuate the clamping mechanism and the closure mechanism.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a wet-wipe comprising a non-woven composite elastic material comprising a non-woven elastic layer; and a non-woven gatherable layer. The gatherable layer is bonded to the elastic layer at at least two points; and is gathered between the bonded points. These wet-wipes have a softer more cloth like feel.
Abstract:
A device for cleaning the polished end faces of fibers of an optical connector having guide pins is provided. The device has a surface with at least one rail disposed on the surface. The rail has a height above the surface sufficient to accommodate guide pins extending from an optical connector. A system for cleaning the polished end faces of fibers of an optical connector is also provided that includes an overlay disposed on the cleaning device. A guide member that is disposed on top of the overlay is also provided for receiving the optical connector. A method for cleaning an optical connector with the disclosed device and system is also provided.
Abstract:
The substrate processing apparatus is provided with a gas-liquid mixing nozzle for generating a process liquid mist by mixing a liquid and a pressurized gas, to discharge the process liquid mist to a substrate at high speeds. The liquid may be remover liquid, intermediate rinse liquid or deionized water. The reaction products which having been generated on the substrate in etching process is removed at high speeds with the flow of the mist, whereby the quality of the process is improved.
Abstract:
An electro-kinetic electrostatic air conditioner includes a mechanism to clean the wire-like electrodes in the first electrode array. A length of flexible Mylar type sheet material projects from the base of the second electrode array towards and beyond the first electrode array. The distal end of each sheet includes a slit that engages a corresponding wire-like electrode. As a user moves the second electrode array up or down within the conditioner housing, friction between slit edges and the wire-like electrode cleans the electrode surface. The sheet material may be biasedly pivotably attached to the base of the second electrode array, and may be urged away from and parallel to the wire-like electrodes when the conditioner is in use. Another embodiment includes a bead-like member having a through opening or channel, through which the wire-like electrode passes. As the conditioner is turned upside down and rightside up, friction between the opening in the bead-like member and wire-like electrode cleans the electrode surface. The bead-like member may be made of ceramic, glass, or even metal. The through channel may be symmetrically formed in the bead-like member, but preferably will be asymmetrical to create a mechanical moment and increased friction with the surface of the wire-like electrode being cleaned.
