    Abstract: A junk crusher device for crushing junk in a fluid stream includes a circular plate and a shaft. The circular plate includes fluid stream discharge holes and a bearing. The shaft is disposed within the bearing and includes detachably connected tear blades that are configured to rotate with the shaft. The junk crusher device further includes an impeller, hydraulically driven by the fluid stream, configured to rotate the shaft, an internal housing including fixed blades, and a body configured to receive the internal housing such that the internal housing is secured to an interior of the body. The rotating tear blades and fixed blades are configured to crush junk in the fluid stream. The fluid stream discharge holes disposed in the circular plate are configured to filter crushed junk.

    Abstract: An embodiment of a distribution device for a slurry containing liquid and solid constituents, including a housing, a rotor, a driving unit, and an annular air transmission chamber. The housing includes an inlet, end walls at a driving side and opposite, and a plurality of outlets. The rotor is arranged in the housing and rotatable about a rotation axis, with at least one blade arrangement for sweeping over the outlets and an air distribution chamber for distributing compressed air to the blade arrangement(s). The driving unit has a motor outside the housing and a drive shaft coaxial with the rotation axis which passes through the end wall at the driving side and is connected to the rotor. The transmission chamber is coaxial with the rotation axis, outside the drive shaft, and is connected to the air distribution chamber and an inlet for compressed air, in an air-conducting manner.

    Abstract: A solids dissociation apparatus that is used to remove various types of contaminants from a continuous fluid stream. The solids dissociation apparatus includes a housing.     Abstract: Described is a macerator and process for using the macerator to reduce the particle size of a particulate containing slurry that is introduced to the macerator. The macerator comprises a housing that defines a chamber an inlet and an outlet, the inlet configured to receive a flow of slurry, two or more elongate concentric bodies located within the chamber to define a gap between the surface of the outer body and the inner surface of the housing, the bodies having a first end and a second end, at least one of the bodies rotatable about an axis, and each body comprising a plurality of apertures to define a flow path through each body, from the housing inlet to the housing outlet, a baffle or baffles that extend substantially the width of the gap from the first end to the second end of the bodies to define a first portion that contains the inlet, and a second portion that contains the outlet, and wherein the baffle or baffles substantially inhibit passage of slurry between the two portions via the gap such that the slurry is directed through the body apertures, a motor to drive the rotating body or bodies, one or more injectors that inject liquid into the gap, wherein at least one of the injectors is located in the first portion. The particle size of the outlet slurry is less than the particle size of the inlet slurry.
