    Abstract: A filtration apparatus for filtrating particles from fluid, the filtration apparatus comprising a filtration vessel; at least one filtering element for removing particles from fluid passing therethrough, the at least one filtering element being arranged to move along a path into the filtration vessel, and out from the filtration vessel; a filtration inlet arranged to convey a mixture of particles and fluid to the at least one filtering element within the filtration vessel; and a filtration outlet arranged to convey fluid, filtrated by the at least one filtering element, out from the filtration vessel; wherein the filtration apparatus is configured to establish a differential pressure over the at least one filtering element inside the filtration vessel. A method of filtrating particles from fluid is also provided.

    Abstract: Water or wastewater filtration systems and processes have a filter tank having a floor and sidewall defining a filtration zone, an influent conduit, and an effluent conduit. One or more filtration members in the tank having filter media, and one or more cleaning members adjacent at least some portions of the filter media. Generating an effluent stream by generating a pressure differential across submerged portions of the filtration media, causing water in the influent to flow from outside to inside the submerged portions of the filter media. A prime mover rotates the filtration members. A blower and chamber for creating a reduced pressure condition in each of the cleaning members when they are non-submerged, the chamber receiving wet solids removed from non-submerged, wet solids-laden portions of the filter media by the non-submerged cleaning members subsequent to submerged, fouled portions of the filter media being rotated out of the filtration zone.

    Abstract: A food processing water filtration apparatus includes a rotatable drum, a source of liquid, a blade to remove solids from the drum, a drain, and a rotational drive. The system has one or more of a plurality of flights affixed to the drum, a source of mixing gas connected to the source of liquid, a source of cleaning gas connected to nozzles disposed inside the drum, and a trunnion support for an end of the drum. The drum is cylindrical and at least partially comprised of a screen. The source of liquid directs liquid towards the screen and into the drum. The drain collects at least a second portion of the liquid that passes through the screen and out of the drum. The outlet is at one or both ends of the drum. The rotational drive is connected to an end(s) of the drum, and rotates the drum.

    Abstract: A pre-coating filter device includes: a filtration tank comprising a raw water inlet through which raw water flows on one side, and a drain port at the bottom; a top cover coupled to the upper part of the filtration tank and comprising a coupling hole through the middle part; a purified water discharge pipe coupled to the coupling hole of the top cover; a purified water storage space unit coupled to the lower part of the top cover and located within the filtration tank, and comprising a communication pipe connected to the central part; a filter coupling plate body coupled to the lower part of the purified water storage space unit and comprising a plurality of coupling holes through; and a pre-coating filter coupled to the coupling hole of the filter coupling plate body.
