摘要: The use is described of particulate, water-insoluble and scarcely swellable polymers of ethylenically unsaturated monomers, which polymers contain, copolymerized, at least 20% by weight, based on the total weight of the monomers, of at least one null,null-monoethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acid having from 3 to 6 carbons as filter aid for filtering aqueous liquids. Subject-matter of the invention are also water-insoluble, scarcely swellable polymers (popcorn polymers) that contain, copolymerized, null,null-monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids and styrene or styrene derivatives, and also a process for their preparation.

摘要: A apparatus for supplying drinking-water has a drinking-water storage unit, a drinking-water supply system capable of introducing the drinking-water into a drinking cup from the drinking-water storage unit, and an antimicrobial member provided in the drinking-water supply system. This allows easy bacteriostasis or sterilization of the drinking-water poured from the nozzle. Further, an activity effect of the antimicrobial member inhibits the growth of bacteria in the drinking-water supply system.

摘要: A fiber mat is formed on a screen cylinder of a pressurized fiber filtering device used to filter particles from a liquid stream. The fiber mat is a fine particle filter to remove small particles from the liquid stream. The fiber mat is formed by injecting cellulosic fibers into the liquid stream flowing into the fiber filtering device. These fibers collect on the screen cylinder as the liquid flows through the cylinder. The collection of fibers forms the fine filtering mat.

摘要: A filtration apparatus is provided which is easy to maintain, manage and which enables preservation of filtration characteristics due to the fact that filtration is carried out by use of a gelatinous filter apparatus. In the filtration apparatus, filtration characteristics can be maintained by providing a bubble supplying mechanism for removing a sedimentary layer comprising removables that is formed on a surface of a filtration film and a filtration characteristics restoring mechanism for restoring the filter film clogged by the removables by causing a back-flow of filtered water accumulated in a cistern. Filtration apparatus maintenance and management are facilitated by improving recovery efficiency of the precipitated removables by tapering a lower part inside a raw water tank and providing a recovery tank for recovering removables via a valve.

摘要: The invention is directed to a precoat or body feed composition comprising a microbiological interception enhanced filter aid. Preferably, the microbiological interception enhanced filter aid comprises fibrillated lyocell nanofibers having coated on at least a portion of a surface thereof, a microbiological interception enhancing agent. The microbiological interception enhanced agent comprises a cationic material in combination with a biologically active metal. At least about 4 log reduction in bacterial interception is achieved with the microbiological interception enhanced filter aid alone or in combination with a bulk, untreated filter aid. A precoat composition including the microbiological interception enhanced filter aid can be used for one-step cold sterilization of beverages.

摘要: This method provide a method for fabricating a semiconductor device in which waste water generated by a step of processing a semiconductor is filtered to be clean. In the method, removables 12 trapped by a first filter film 10 are used as a second filter film 13, and clogging of the first filter film 10 is prevented, and an external force such as bubbles is applied to the second filter film 13 to maintain filtering capacity. And when removables are mixed with the filtered water, the filtered water is recirculated again to the tank in which the waste water is stored, and after it is checked that a desired inclusion rate has been reached filtration is started again.
