Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus including a touch sensitive user interface and a processor. The processor is configured to detect a first contact at a first position on the user interface, determine a movement of the first contact from the first position and if the movement is less than a predetermined movement threshold, when a release of the first contact is detected, move a first object on the user interface from an initial position on the user interface to an area at or near the first position. If the movement is greater than the predetermined movement threshold to identify a second position corresponding to an area near an end point of the movement and when the release of the first contact is detected, execute an action on the second position from the first object.

Abstract: A method for aim assist in electronic games is disclosed. The method comprises receiving a manipulation input from a user for moving the crosshair to different positions in the game environment, receiving a firing input from the user, executing an attack action in response to receiving the firing input from the user, and determining whether the crosshair is within the targeting area at the time of executing the attack action. In response to determining that the crosshair is within the targeting area at the time of executing the attack action, the method provides a computer-controlled input to adjust a position of the crosshair towards an auto-aim position on the target as the target moves from a first position to a second position in the game environment, wherein the executed attack action is directed in accordance with the adjusted position of the crosshair.

Abstract: A method for generating mark information in a virtual environment includes displaying a target-perspective picture showing the virtual environment, a sight bead pointing to an aiming position, and receiving a mark operation triggered on a mark control interface. The method further includes, in response to receiving the mark operation, generating, according to the received mark operation, mark information on a virtual object to which the aiming position points. The virtual object on which the mark information is generated is a movable object, a virtual prop, a virtual building, or a virtual landscape object in the virtual environment. The generated mark information is visible at a position of the virtual object in the virtual environment to one or more teammates of the virtual character.

The method includes displaying, on a user interface, a display picture corresponding to a virtual environment and a first virtual object located in the virtual environment. Further, the method includes obtaining a set execution range of a first operation of the first virtual object in the virtual environment, and determining a priority execution range of the first operation in the virtual environment, the priority execution range being within the set execution range and smaller than the set execution range. In addition, the method includes selecting a second virtual object from the priority execution range as a target virtual object corresponding to the first operation. Apparatus and non-transitory computer-readable medium counterpart embodiments are also provided.

Abstract: In one method, device data including an orientation of a targeting device is received in a computing system. Target coordinates of the targeting device as projected onto a field-of-view of a display device are then located based on the device data. Pursuant to locating the target coordinates within a predefined margin, a target graphic indicating the target coordinates is superposed onto the field-of-view. Pursuant to locating the target coordinates outside of the predefined margin, an off-target graphic is superposed onto the field-of-view and aligned to a display perimeter of the display device.
