摘要： A frame apparatus for displaying an article. The frame apparatus includes a support structure having a frame and a backer panel. A plurality of slots are formed into the backer panel that include a first slot that is elongated along a first axis that is parallel to top and bottom edges of the support structure and a second slot that is elongated along a second axis that is parallel to lateral edges of the support structure. The frame apparatus also includes a hanging element for hanging the support structure from a support surface such as a wall. The hanging element is configured to be slidably coupled to the support structure such that the hanging element can slide back and forth within one of the slots while remaining coupled to the support structure. This structure enables the frame apparatus to be moved side-to-side along the support surface while hanging therefrom.

摘要： A modular framing system comprises plastic components that each comprise a single article having unitary construction and which are connectable to form various sized SEG frames. Four unitarily molded corner frame connections each include protrusions receivable by at least four side rails, each of which may be unitarily extruded with a constant profile along the respective lengths of the side rails. The interconnected corner frame connections and side rails define a continuous conduit about the quadrilateral frame for receiving therein respective edges of the tensionable textile. For use with larger tensionable textiles, additional side rails and T-frame connections may be utilized, with each of the T-frame connections comprising a single molded article having unitary construction. At least the frame connections (both corner frame connections and T-frame connections) may be reused for frames of other sizes.

In some examples, the frame assembly system comprises a plurality of joining pieces having a plurality of openings in each joining piece, each of the plurality of openings having a first cross-sectional shape and framing pieces having a second cross-sectional shape, different from the first cross-sectional shape, wherein the first cross-sectional shape can be formed by an arrangement of two or more of the framing pieces, a first one of the two or more framing pieces positioned approximately perpendicular to at least a second one of the two or more framing pieces in the arrangement. In some examples, four joining pieces form four corners of a rectangular frame, and at least eight framing pieces form four sides of the rectangular frame. In some examples, the first cross-sectional shape is a T shape and the second cross-sectional shape is rectangular. In some examples, the first cross-sectional shape is an L shape and the second cross-sectional shape is rectangular. In some examples, the frame assembly system further comprises a fastener for coupling at least one of the framing pieces to at least one of the joining pieces and a cap piece couplable to at least the at least one joining piece and configured to conceal the fastener.

摘要： A mounting system and method for displaying viewable content on a supporting surface includes a frame assembly having a backing, a frame, means for securing viewable content between the backing and frame, and means for removing and replacing viewable content. The system includes a mount removable connected to the supporting surface and having an outer conduit having an inner surface, an aperture extending in a longitudinal direction, and a circumferential groove disposed within the inner surface. An anchor is integrally connected to the backing of the frame assembly and has a central axis. The anchor has an inner conduit and a spring-loaded pin having a longitudinal axis and configured to be inserted into the aperture of the outer conduit of the mount along the longitudinal direction. The system includes means for connecting the anchor and mount in a rotatable relationship about the central axis.

摘要： The present invention is a frame divider, which is used to provide an existing frame with the capability to increase the number of frame openings using spline members. The present invention comprises a frame insert, a plurality of frame openings and either a spline member or a plurality of spline members. The frame insert comprises an insert opening, an inner edge and an outer edge. These spline members comprise a plurality of spline ends which are affixed to the inner edge of the frame insert. The spline members can be linear, nonlinear or a combination of both. The frame openings are delineated by the spline members and the inner edge. The present invention is applied to an existing frame by being inserted into the rabbet of the frame. The arrangement of the spline members should be customizable to a user.

摘要： An adjustable display frame has first and second U-shaped frame elements having aligned free end surfaces that abut to form a small display frame and are separated by first and second inert elements urged by a spring to provide a large display frame. Each U-shaped frame element has a pair of longitudinal slots which receive heads of headed studs projecting from a base disposed behind the frame elements, wherein the frame elements are secured to the base and are capable of sliding on the base from a first position, to provide the small frame, to a second position so as to provide the large frame. The inserts are slidable on the base inboard of the U-shaped frame elements and are spring biased so as to move between the free ends of the U-shaped frame elements when the U-shaped frame elements are separated by being pulled apart. Stops are provided for arresting motion of the inserts to align the inserts with the free ends of the U-shaped frame elements after the inserts have been pushed outwardly by the spring.
