    Abstract: A frame apparatus for displaying an article. The frame apparatus includes a support structure having a frame and a backer panel. A plurality of slots are formed into the backer panel that include a first slot that is elongated along a first axis that is parallel to top and bottom edges of the support structure and a second slot that is elongated along a second axis that is parallel to lateral edges of the support structure. The frame apparatus may include a hanging element for hanging the support structure from a support surface such as a wall. The hanging element may be configured to be slidably coupled to the support structure such that the hanging element can slide back and forth within one of the slots while remaining coupled to the support structure. This structure enables the frame apparatus to move side-to-side along the support surface while hanging therefrom.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a customizable frame system, which can be customized for both shape and size. In some embodiments only the corners are visible, and the structural rails are hidden. In other embodiments, the rails create a frame around the outside of the picture. The rails, and in some embodiments the corners, have a notch that allows the frame to be hung from various sides. The framing system can be supplied in standard sizes and custom sizes. Each corner can be a different shape and color or theme. They can be decorated or embellished with materials, objects or characters. The sides, rails and corners form reusable pieces to make different sizes for new frames.

    Abstract: A maneuverable, attachable picture frame with detachable base. This device is in the form of individual parts which, upon assembly, provide for the support and display of pictures at any angle and in a plurality of orientations. The all direction maneuverable picture frame device may be affixed via an attachable base onto computer monitor sides, furniture, walls, or other surface, and in any position: horizontally, vertically, obliquely or upside-down. The picture frame device includes a top part, with a picture holder connected to a ball-joint connecter, and a detachable base with a first end configured to receive, support and secure the top part and a second end with an adhesive surface securing the picture frame in place. The picture frame device has a fully moveable joint connector offering greater number of maneuvering positions: horizontally, vertically or circular. The ball joint connector allows the picture holder to be plugged in and out of the base for easy insertion and extraction of pictures, without damaging the attachable base. Once the ball joint connector of the picture holder and the base are joined the picture frame device is complete and can remain in place while still allowing the picture holder to maneuver as needed for optimal viewing of the picture.

    Abstract: A framing system suitable for framing artwork, drawings, pictures and the like and mounting the framed work on a surface includes at least one frame member that cooperates with a plurality of mounting elements to surround the work with the frame member(s) and mount the resultant framed work to a mounting surface. The frame member(s) include a plurality of frame member portions that will be oriented toward the mounting surface when the framed work is mounted onto the surface. Each mounting element comprises magnetic material and adhesive material. The magnetic material and corresponding frame member portion provides magnetic coupling between the mounting element and the corresponding frame member portion that is used to releasably affix the frame members and the work to the mounting elements. The adhesive material is used to mount the resulting framed work to the surface by an adhesive bond between the mounting elements and the surface. Preferably, this adhesive bond is releasable such that the resulting framed work can be easily and quickly dismounted from the surface in a manner that does not impart scars or other damage to the surface. Preferably, the system includes a plurality of frame members whose positions relative to one another can be adjusted and fixed to form a frame that is adjustable to a user-selected size.
