Abstract:
The present invention relates to a macroscopic, two or three-dimensional support medium that facilitates artistic expression and the creation and display of macroscopic design that is applied art, architecture and art. The invention also relates to various methods of making such novel support mediums and the works of design that is applied art, architecture and art they are made as or into. Examples are works of design, architecture and art made with aesthetic and/or functional properties from the use of nanomaterials.
Abstract:
A canvas corner fixing device for an aluminum canvas frame includes: canvas frame bodies each made by means of extrusion molding and having a hollow portion formed therein and a fixing groove and a coupling groove formed on the rear surface thereof; a corner coupling member having a body, a support located at the inside of the body, and frame body insertion holes formed on one side in a vertical direction thereof and on one side in a horizontal side thereof; and a fixing member made of a soft synthetic resin and having coupling protrusions protruding from one side in a vertical direction thereof and from one side in a horizontal side thereof.
Abstract:
A diamond art kit includes a diamond art canvas which includes a layer of adhesive. A protective film having perforated tear lines releasably covers the adhesive. The protective film is divided into several sections defined by the tear lines. A user can tear the protective film along the tear lines so as to remove only a chosen section of the protective film. This will expose a working portion of the canvas adhesive corresponding to that chosen section, but the protective film will remain in place protecting the remaining adhesive. The user can then place drills in the working portion of the canvas.
Abstract:
Craft pictorial media that is easily folded to form a frame structure includes a sheet of relatively stiff paper having a rectangular main region and respective edge portions extending outwardly from each side and end of the main region, the edge portions being defined by fold lines that are marked and/or embossed, or carved in case the sheet of material is extra thick. Corner reinforcements can also be included.
Abstract:
A manufacturing method of a picture comprises, disposing salt on a manufacturing board to form a salt layer, and coating and drying steps. In the primary coating and drying steps, polyurethane resin cured by exposure to air for about 10 to 20 minutes is poured onto the salt layer and the primary coating layer is dried in a condition of a relative humidity of 40 to 60%. In the secondary coating step, polyurethane resin cured for about 21 to 40 minutes is poured onto the primary coating layer and the secondary coating layer is dried in a condition of a relative humidity of 1 to 39%. In the tertiary coating step, polyurethane resin cured for about 50 to 70 minutes is poured onto the secondary coating layer and the tertiary coating layer is dried in a condition of a relative humidity of 1 to 39%.
Abstract:
The present invention includes a unique watercolor paper, the method for producing said watercolor paper, and the method for producing a watercolor painting using said watercolor paper. Resists—a clear resist in the form of a clear varnish; and a metallic resist in the form of gold foil—are pre-applied to the watercolor paper as part of the method of manufacture and the process involved. The clear resist is not removed after painting, the foil is applied prior to the clear resist, and neither is allowed to overlap on the watercolor paper. Ideally, both resists interact to form a unified pattern or design.
Abstract:
A kit and method for assembling a frame supporting a stretched sheet includes a set of four stretcher bars, a set of braces, a stretching lever, and a sheet of material. A first stretcher bar can be initially attached to a first edge of the sheet. Remaining second, third, and fourth stretcher bars can be assembled with the first stretcher bar and corner braces to form a frame that rests upon the sheet. The stretching lever can be used to stretch the sheet between opposing stretcher bars just before the sheet is attached to a stretcher bar. The method of using a stretching lever as opposed to stretching pliers greatly reduces the time and difficulty of uniformly stretching the sheet.
Abstract:
A planarization process may planarize a media disk that has data trenches between data features and larger servo trenches between servo features. A filler material layer is deposited on the media disk and provides step coverage of the trenches. The filler material has data recesses over the data trenches and servo recesses over the servo trenches that must be removed to produce a planar media surface. A first planarization process is used to remove the data recesses and a second planarization process is used to remove the servo recesses.
Abstract:
Articles comprising simulated stone block walls and artist's canvases may be formed by providing a burlap or canvas substrate, coating the substrate with a layer of gypsum wallboard finishing compound or similar plaster-like composition, and folding or otherwise manipulating the substrate when a predetermined set or hardening of the composition has occurred to create cracks, crevices and chipped corners of the article, for example, to simulate a broken stone block or an aged artist's work.
Abstract:
An art wall painting curtain structure includes a plurality of supports, an operating cord rotator, a rotating base, a curtain cloth and a plurality of roller tubes. The tip of the curtain cloth is engaged in a roller tube, and the two ends of the roller tube are moveably and pivotally provided the operating cord rotator and the rotating base, respectively. Upon being further connected to the L-shape supports, the art wall painting curtain according to the invention can be fastened to the wall. The bottom of the curtain cloth is engaged in another roller tube. As the curtain cloth is manually painted an elegant oil painting artwork, when the curtain cloth is drawn downed, it not only can serve as an artwork, but also a sunshade.
