The cutting edges of the first and second cutters are disposed substantially in the same plane and are movable towards each other such that the cutting edges simultaneously cut into the insulation material of the at least two cable ends. In addition, the cutting device and the cable ends are movable relative to each other in the longitudinal direction of the cable ends to simultaneously pull-off the cut insulation material from the at least two cable ends and thereby strip the at least two cable ends.

    摘要: A deflectable lifting device can be mounted to a frame, work surface or other support in a material conveyance system. The device can have a base mounted in the support, and a bendable arm arranged in the pathway of the conveyance system. When a sheet or web of material travels over the deflectable lifting device, the bendable arm can bend and deflect downwardly, but still contact and lift the sheet or web, providing a small margin of elevation or lift to the sheet or web. The sheet or web can therefore be elevated above edges, holes, or other obstructions in the pathway that could jam or snag the delivery of the material.

One of the upper and lower die units includes a main punch and the other die unit includes an ejector, a slider and a biasing portion which is connected to the slider and biases the slider in a predetermined sliding direction S. A cam structure is disposed between the slider and the ejector and converts a movement of the ejector to a movement of the slider in a direction opposite to a predetermined sliding direction when the upper and lower die units are closed, and converts a movement of the slider to a movement of the ejector in a work ejecting direction when the upper and lower die units are opened. A position retaining portion is also provided which retains a position of the slider for a period of time.

    摘要: Provided is a microtomic system and process for the preparation of sections for microscope examination. A cutting edge in the system can cut through a sample block and produce a section one end of which remains attached to the cutting edge. A voltage generator can generate a voltage and apply the voltage between the cutting edge and a section receiver such as a semiconductor chip grid. Through electrostatic force caused by the voltage, another end of the section can anchor to the section receiver. The section is then spread on the receiver. The system is automatable, highly efficient, and does not need liquid to float sample sections, and can therefore maintain the integration of the sample sections.

One tool has protruding needles for the stripping and the other tool has a flexible strip cooperating with the needles.
