摘要: Flow control devices for convector heaters are provided. Such devices may include a casing in the shape of a cylindrical tube having in a first portion thereof, facing in a mounted condition towards the intake conduit of a convector heater, a plurality of first openings and in a second portion thereof, facing in the mounted condition towards the opposite side of the intake conduit, a plurality of second openings, the casing being arranged to be mounted onto the ceiling (S) in such a manner that the first and second openings allow the inside of the casing to be placed into communication with a first space (A1) beneath the ceiling (S) and with a second space (A2) above the ceiling (S), respectively; a closure member in the shape of a cylindrical tube which is mounted within the casing and is axially slidable relative to the latter between a first position, in which it leaves the first openings open and closes the second openings, and a second position, in which it closes the first openings and leaves the second openings open; and actuation elements for controlling the axial sliding movement of the closure member relative to the casing between the first and second position.

摘要: A method for installing a trim system for a fluid control valve mounted behind a wall and configured for use with a kitchen or bath fixture. The method includes positioning a locating ring against a trim assembly, where the locating ring has an adhesive layer on a rear surface thereof; coupling the trim assembly to the fluid control valve; pushing the trim assembly and locating ring toward the wall to bond the adhesive layer of the locating ring to the wall; removing the trim assembly from the locating ring; coupling a mounting bracket to the locating ring; securing the mounting bracket to the wall; and coupling the trim assembly to the mounting bracket.

摘要: A pressure type flow rate control apparatus is provided wherein flow rate of fluid passing through an orifice is computed as Qc=KP1 (where K is a proportionality constant) or as Qc=KP2m(P1−P2)n (where K is a proportionality constant, m and n constants) by using orifice upstream side pressure P1 and/or orifice downstream side pressure P2. A fluid passage between the downstream side of a control valve and a fluid supply pipe of the pressure type flow rate control apparatus comprises at least 2 fluid passages in parallel, and orifices having different flow rate characteristics are provided for each of these fluid passages, wherein fluid in a small flow quantity area flows to one orifice for flow control of fluid in the small flow quantity area, while fluid in a large flow quantity area flows to the other orifice for flow control of fluid in the large flow quantity area.

摘要: An apparatus, a method and a system control fluid flow through a passageway. A downhole tool pumping apparatus may have a body and an active valve block. The body has a cavity housing a reciprocating piston defining first and second chambers within the cavity. The active valve block has active valves configured to be actively actuated between an open position and the closed position. Two or more hydraulic lines may be connected to each active valve for controlling actuating between the open position and the closed position. A piston having a conduit is slidably disposed through the passageway and selectively closes the conduit of the piston by moving at least one of the piston and a plug.

摘要: Urea injection system wash cycle methods and systems are disclosed. An exemplary wash cycle method includes operating a urea injection system to provide urea solution to a first inlet of a blending chamber, provide pressurized gas to a second inlet of the blending chamber, and output a combined flow of pressurized gas and urea solution from the blending chamber. A pressure of the combined flow at a location downstream from the first inlet and the second inlet is monitored. A wash cycle is performed based upon the monitored pressure wherein the flow of pressurized gas is turned off and urea solution is provided to the blending chamber. An exemplary system includes a controller configured to control a urea injection system to perform a wash cycle in accordance with the exemplary method.
