Abstract: A tip valve and a cook system incorporating same that automatically stops the flow of gas to a burner when tipped over and that automatically resets when disconnected from the fuel canister to allow the flow of gas to resume when righted and reconnected are provided. The tip valve includes a ball bearing freely moveable between a fuel canister actuator pin and a tip seal within a bore having two different diameters at each end thereof. The transition between the two diameters forms a taper that may be continuous forming a smooth tapered bore, or discontinuous formed by at least one counter bore. The automatic resetting is provided without the use of a mechanical pin or member.

Abstract: A fuel combustion system comprises a discharge nozzle with concentric fuel and air orifices. A fuel conduit is coupled to each fuel orifice for supplying liquid fuel thereto. An air conduit is coupled to each air orifice for supplying air thereto. The fuel and the pressurized air only mixing with one another, upon being discharged from the respective fuel and air orifices, to form a fuel mixture. A supplemental air source supplies supplement air to facilitate combustion. An air deflector sleeve at least partially surrounds and accommodates the at least one discharge nozzle and a cylindrical blast tube surrounding the air deflector sleeve and an outlet end of the cylindrical blast tube supports a flame retention head. The flame retention head redirects the supplement air radially inward, through openings in the air deflector sleeve and the flame retention head, to assist with combustion of the fuel mixture.

Abstract: The present invention refers to a burner arrangement for burning combustible gas supplied, for example, by a blower (1), in which case the burner arrangement has at least one gas supply pipe (2) for supplying the gas to be burned, in which case the burner arrangement comprises a nozzle arrangement (3) placed downstream from the gas supply pipe (2) in an intended flow direction (S) of the gas, in which case the nozzle arrangement (3) has one or several gas outlet openings (5) through which the gas to be burned can flow out from the nozzle arrangement (3) before it is burned, and in which case the gas outlet opening(s) (5) has/have a total gas outlet area. According to the invention, it is provided for the burner arrangement to comprise means used to change the total gas outlet area of the nozzle arrangement (3) within defined limits so the flow speed of the gas flowing out of the gas outlet opening(s) (5) can be regulated. Furthermore, a method for operating a corresponding burner arrangement is suggested, characterized as a result of this that the total gas outlet area of the nozzle arrangement (3) is adjusted in such a way while the burner arrangement is operating that the flow speed of the gas flowing out through the gas outlet opening(s) (5) always stays within defined limits.

Abstract: A dual fuel vent free gas heater. In one implementation the heater includes a gas burner adapted to receive one of a first type of gas or of a second type of gas with a first pilot burner intended to receive the first type of gas and a second pilot burner intended to receive the second type of gas. A first temperature sensor is located adjacent the first pilot burner and a second temperature sensor is located adjacent the second pilot burner. A normally closed thermal switch is coupled to the first temperature sensor and located in the electrical flow path between a voltage source and a gas control valve actuator, the thermal switch configured to open when the temperature detected by the first temperature sensor exceeds a predetermined temperature indicative that the second type of gas is being delivered to the first pilot burner.

More specifically, a decorative display comprises a dynamic water and fire display device where fuel/air, water, and fire are integrated.
