    摘要: An energy storage and recovery system employs air compressed utilizing power from an operating wind turbine. This compressed air is stored within one or more chambers of a structure supporting the wind turbine above the ground. By functioning as both a physical support and as a vessel for storing compressed air, the relative contribution of the support structure to the overall cost of the energy storage and recovery system may be reduced, thereby improving economic realization for the combined turbine/support apparatus. In certain embodiments, expansion forces of the compressed air stored within the chamber, may be relied upon to augment the physical stability of a support structure, further reducing material costs of the support structure.

    摘要: A fixture concealing module for a stand-alone bathtub is comprised of an enclosure extending upwardly from a support floor and surrounding plumbing conduits extending through the support floor for the supply of domestic cold and hot water. The enclosure has an access opening for access to an interior thereof. A removable closure member is removably secured to the access opening. At least one faucet control is secured in an upper region of the module and accessible to a bather person positioned in the bathtub. A water channelling element projects from the upper region of the module and is in communication with a faucet outlet conduit secured downstream of a valve controlled by the faucet control to direct a flow of water into the bathtub from a top side of the bathtub.

    摘要: A system which includes a turbo bypass switching valve (BSV) positioned at a beneficial location as a direct mount on an air box to achieve compliance to OBD hose-off requirement via electronic actuation of the BSV and monitoring of the fuel tank pressure sensor for pressure change. When the turbocharger unit is generating pressurized air, the turbo BSV is open, and vapor is passing through the purge valve, some level of vacuum in the fuel tank is sensed. By closing the BSV, flow through the venturi is reduced, producing both less vacuum and a change in fuel tank pressure. The pressure change does not occur if any of the hoses become disconnected. This results in a simple OBD “venture hose off” check without additional components.

    摘要: An automatically deployed water removal apparatus for use with a solid, flexible swimming pool cover to remove rainwater caught by the cover. In one embodiment, a head with a water inlet pivots from a stored position along the edge of a pool to a deployed position near the center of a deployed cover as the cover advances to its deployed, pool-covering position. In another embodiment, a water inlet is attached to and positioned in part by a tether cord that may be reeled out during cover deployment and reeled in during retraction of the cover.
