摘要: An apparatus for controlling a position of an elevator in a hoistway includes a fixed belt and a dynamic leveling control module adapted for attachment to the elevator and coupled to the fixed belt. The control module includes a position encoder coupled to the fixed belt, a processor electrically connected to the position encoder, and a communications interface electrically connected to the processor and adapted for communication with an elevator controller for the elevator. The control module determines a velocity, a position, and an acceleration of the elevator in response to a count signal output from the position encoder, and calculates a dynamic slowdown distance relative to an elevator landing for each elevator stop. The control module communicates the dynamic slowdown distance to the elevator controller to initiate slowdown of the elevator. The control module determines a new value of said dynamic slowdown distance for each elevator stop.

摘要: A device for reducing the energy consumption is used in an elevator installation which can be alternatively brought into an operating mode and a standby mode wherein in the standby mode the elevator installation is separated from a main energy source and connected with an auxiliary energy source, by means of which basic functions of the elevator installation are maintained so as to enable later entry into the operating mode. The device includes a detecting unit in order to detect a use criterion describing the current use status of the elevator installation. Moreover, a power-saving unit with a microprocessor is provided in order to bring the elevator installation from the operating mode to the standby mode in the case of non-fulfillment of the use criterion and fulfillment of standby criteria and to bring it from the standby mode to the operating mode in the case of non-fulfillment of the standby criteria.

摘要: An emitter and a plurality of sensors and are used to detect the relative positions between an elevator platform and landing sill. The emitters radiate energy through a reflection duct formed between the elevator platform and the landing sill. The plurality of sensors monitor the reflection duct so that radiated energy is detected. The sensors provide level signals in response to the radiated energy. A means responsive to the level signals determines when the platform is level with respect to the landing sill.

摘要: A drive system for an hydraulic elevator operated at a constant output power for any load during elevator car travel in the upward direction. The maximum nominal speed in the upward direction is selected for a load which typically occurs most frequently and the drive is designed accordingly. The car speed is reduced correspondingly for higher loads and increased correspondingly for lower loads. The variable car speed is achieved either through the use of an adjustable pump of variable displacement volume controlled by a pressure regulating valve or through the use of a positive displacement pump of constant displacement volume which is driven by a frequency regulated electrical motor.
