摘要: A replacement light tube for replacing a fluorescent light tube includes a bulb portion extending between a first end and a second end, the bulb portion comprising a support structure, a plurality of white light emitting diodes (LEDs) and an elongate light-transmissive cover. The support structure has a first surface extending between the first end and the second end. The plurality of LEDs are supported by the first surface and arranged between the first end and the second end. The elongate light-transmissive cover extends between the first end and the second end and over the first surface of the support structure. A first end cap and a second end cap are disposed on the first end and the second end, respectively, each configured to fit with a socket for a fluorescent light tube. A power supply circuit is configured to provide power to the plurality of LEDs. The plurality of LEDs are arranged to emit light through the elongate light-transmissive cover and at least a portion of the power supply circuit is packaged inside at least one of the end caps.

摘要: A system and method of converting a light fixture from a conventional light fixture to an LED light fixture. Originally, the light fixture has a troffer, a ballast unit, and bulb receptacles. The conversion is accomplished by mounting a panel over the face of the troffer that obscures the ballast unit and bulb receptacles. LED light strips are mounted to the panel. Likewise, an LED power supply is mounted to the panel. The panel is attached to the troffer with a hinge connection. In this manner, the panel can be rotated away from the troffer for easy access.

摘要: Light sources (10) for replacing fluorescent lamps comprise light circuits (3) with light emitting diodes, first and second terminals (1, 2) located at first and second ends of the light sources (10) for exchanging first signals with high-frequency ballasts, and converter circuits (4) for converting the first signals into second signals for feeding the light circuits (3). The converter circuits (4) comprise reactive circuits (5) for matching the light circuits (3) and the high-frequency ballasts and provide safety to persons when installing the light sources (10). The light sources (10) may further comprise protection circuits (7, 8) for protecting parts of the light sources (10) against problems. The protection circuits (7, 8) may comprise monitor circuits (7) for monitoring parameters of the light sources (10) and for in response to monitoring results short-circuiting outputs of the converter circuits (4), and fuses (8). The reactive circuits (5) may comprise protecting capacitors (51, 52).

A power supply circuit is configured to provide power to the plurality of LEDs. The plurality of LEDs are arranged to emit light through the elongate light-transmissive cover and at least a portion of the power supply circuit is packaged inside at least one of the end caps.

A method serves to assemble a base (3, 4) on a lamp, tube (1) of the tubular lamp (L). In particular, the invention is suitable for use on retrofit LED lamps as a substitute for fluorescent lamps, in particular T-type lamps, in particular T8-type lamps.

摘要: Arrangements comprise drivers (1) for driving light circuits (5), receivers (2) for in response to receptions of wireless signals controlling the drivers (1), and supplies (3) for providing first feeding signals for feeding the receivers (2) during off-states of the drivers (1). The drivers (1) themselves provide second feeding signals for feeding the receivers (2) during on-states of the drivers (1). Devices (6) such as lamps in the form of retrofit tubes comprise the arrangements and the light circuits (5). The light circuits (5) may comprise light emitting diodes. The arrangements may receive AC signals from ballasts (7), and both feeding signals may be DC signals. The supplies (3) may comprise voltage dividers (31, 32) with first capacitor circuits (31) to limit currents entering the supplies (3) for given frequencies of the AC signals and voltage definition circuits (32) for defining voltage signals present across the voltage definition elements (32). Both feeding signals may be supplied via elements (33, 35) with diode functions.

摘要: The light fixture includes a frame configured to define a channel, and a substantially flat light emitting diode (LED) panel disposed within the frame. Power circuitry is disposed within the first channel, the power circuitry being configured to electrically couple the substantially flat LED panel to an external AC power supply. The power circuitry is sized to be positioned within the first channel and has a length and a width, the length-to-width ratio being at least 5 to 1, and optionally at least 10 to 1. The power circuitry is configured to convert an AC input into a DC output suitable for powering the substantially flat light emitting diode (LED) panel. The substantially flat light emitting diode (LED) panel includes an optically transmissive panel, and an array of LEDs disposed adjacent to an edge of the optically transmissive panel and disposed adjacent at least one edge of the frame.
