摘要: A lamp including a body for containing a light engine that includes at least a first and second string of said light emitters. The lamp includes driver electronics including an AC-DC switching power supply section of a circuit including a first potentiometer for adjusting total current to the light engine; and a linear topology LED string current control section of the circuit including an operational amplifier controlled by a second potentiometer to operate a field effect transistor (FET) in the linear portion of the FETs operation range to adjust a percentage of the total current to the first and second string of the light emitters. Adjusting the total current adjusts the photosynthetic photon flux (PPF) of light emitted by the lamp. Adjusting the percentage of the total current to the first and second string of the light emitters adjusts the spectral power distribution of light being emitted by the lamp.

摘要: A method for driving an LED tube lamp includes providing a rectifying circuit for receiving an AC supply signal from a rectifying input side, wherein the AC supply signal has frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz when the LED tube lamp operates in a ballast-bypass mode, providing a filtering circuit electrically connected to the rectifying circuit, providing a driving circuit electrically connected to the filtering circuit and configured to generate a lamp driving signal to drive an LED module for emitting light, providing a circuit configured for forming a detection path between the rectifying input side and a ground terminal, causing a detection current with pulse waveform to flow through the detection path by turning on and cutting off the detection path, and generating a signal for indicating whether a foreign external impedance is electrically connected to the LED tube lamp in response to the detection current.

摘要: A ballast-bypass light-emitting diode (LED) tube lamp includes at least a first and second external connection terminal, the first and second external connection terminals respectively connected to opposite sides of the ballast by-pass LED tube lamp. The tube lamp includes an LED module, configured to emit light in response to a driving current, and a power supply module, electrically connected to the first and second external connection terminals for receiving an AC driving signal and configured to provide the driving current to the LED module. The power supply module comprises a rectifying circuit, a filtering circuit, a driving circuit, and a circuit electrically connected to the driving circuit and configured to operate in response to whether a foreign external impedance is connected to the LED tube lamp. When part of the LED tube lamp is electrically connected to an external power source and the foreign external impedance is electrically connected to the LED tube lamp, the first circuit disables the driving circuit so as to limit the generation of the driving current to prevent the LED module from emitting light based on the driving current. When both ends of the LED tube lamp are electrically connected to an external power source and the foreign external impedance is not electrically connected to the LED tube lamp, the first circuit enables the driving circuit so as to not limit the generation of the driving current in order to allow the LED module to emitting light based on the driving current.

摘要: A ballast-bypass type LED tube lamp is provided herein, which implements the safety function for protecting the user from electric shock since it conducts only when both ends thereof have been correctly installed into a lamp socket. The ballast-bypass type LED tube lamp includes a lamp tube, two end caps, an LED module and a power supply module. The power supply module includes a detection module for temporarily conducting two detection terminals of the detection module during a detection stage, so that a pulse current is generated when the LED tube lamp is powered on. The detection module performs a detection based on the pulse current, so as to determine whether to conduct or cut off a current path between the first and the second detection terminals after the detection stage.

摘要: An LED tube lamp is disclosed. An installation detection circuit is configured in the LED tube lamp configured to receive an external driving signal. The installation detection circuit is configured to detect during one or more pulse signals whether the LED tube lamp is properly installed on a lamp socket, based on detecting a signal generated from the external driving signal. The installation detection circuit includes a switch circuit coupled to the pulse generating circuit, wherein the one or more pulse signals control turning on and off of the switch circuit. The installation detection circuit is further configured to: when it is detected during one or more pulse signals that the LED tube lamp is not properly installed on the lamp socket, control the switch circuit to remain in an off state to cause a power loop of the LED tube lamp to be open; and when it is detected during one or more pulse signals that the LED tube lamp is properly installed on the lamp socket, control the switch circuit to remain in a conducting state to cause the power loop of the LED tube lamp to maintain a conducting state.

The system includes a temperature sensor operably coupled to the UV light. The temperature sensor is configured to generate a temperature signal indicative of a temperature of the UV light. The system includes at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to determine a temperature of the UV light based on the temperature signal, and adjust the electrical power delivered to the UV light based on the temperature signal.

摘要: A light emitting diode lighting assembly that receives an electrical excitation signal that is varied from a dimming device. Driving circuitry receives the varying input and has first and second paths that each have a plurality of light emitting diodes. Each plurality of light emitting diodes has a threshold voltage with the threshold voltage of the first plurality of diodes being less than the threshold voltage of the second plurality of lighting emitting diodes. The current within the first path is controlled by a current limiting device that is controlled by a resistor that receives input from the second path to gradually turn off the first plurality of light emitting diodes as the second plurality of lighting emitting diodes increase in intensity. A shunt voltage regulator within the circuit having a threshold voltage that is above threshold voltages of components in the assembly to minimize voltage increases in the assembly.

摘要: A lighting fixture includes a solid-state lighting source, such as an LED light source. A control module of the lighting fixture uses temperature sensing circuitry to determine a relative ambient temperature. When the ambient temperature is above a defined ambient temperature threshold, a drive signal is provided to the solid-state light source at a target drive level that corresponds to a normal light output level. When the ambient temperature is below the ambient temperature threshold, the drive signal is provided to the solid-state light source at a reduced drive level, which is lower than the target drive level.
