Abstract: The optical assembly disclosed in the embodiment includes a housing having an inclined bottom surface, a plurality of inner surfaces around an outer periphery of the bottom surface, and a receiving space in which an upper portion is opened; and a lighting module disposed on the inclined bottom surface, wherein the lighting module includes a substrate inclinedly disposed on the inclined bottom surface; at least one light emitting device disposed on the substrate; and a resin layer sealing the light emitting device and the substrate, wherein an upper surface of the resin layer emits light by diffusing light emitted from the light emitting device, wherein the plurality of inner surfaces includes a first inner surface adjacent to the light emitting device, a second inner surface facing the first inner surface, and third and fourth inner surfaces facing each other and disposed between the first and second inner surfaces, wherein a height between the bottom surface of the housing and an upper surface of the housing increases from the first inner surface toward the second inner surface, and decreases from the third inner surface toward the fourth inner surface.

Abstract: Lighting devices and methods utilize multiple independently controllable groups of solid state light emitters of different dominant wavelengths, with operation of the emitter groups being automatically adjusted by processor(s) to provide desired illumination. Operation of the emitter groups may be further affected by sensors and/or user input commands (e.g., sound patterns, gesture patterns, or signal transmission). Operation may be adjusted to compensate for presence, absence, intensity, and/or color point of ambient or incident light. Presence of five or more groups of solid state light emitters provide desirable luminous flux, color point, correlated color temperature (CCT), color rendering index (CRI), CRI R9, and luminous efficacy characteristics of aggregate emissions over a wide range of CCT values, and may permit adjustment of vividness (e.g., relative gamut) and/or melatonin suppression characteristics for a selected color point or CCT.

Abstract: A lighthouse lantern comprising a power supply and a phosphor-containing emitter is disclosed. Abstract: A LED based lighting apparatus is disclosed. The light engine used in the lighting apparatus may use printed circuit board and have a plurality of LED groups that are independently controllable by a control unit. The power supply input and return paths connected to each LED group may be implemented on different layers to allow a compact footprint that may be used with traditional fluorescent encasements with relatively little modification. The LEDs may comprise a subset of LEDs having a first colour and a subset of LEDs having a second colour different from said first colour intertwined on the light engine.

Abstract: A lighting device may comprise a light emitting element and a reflector, the reflector comprising: a first opening surrounding the light emitting element and a second opening; reflector side walls forming the first and second openings, the reflector side walls divergently extending from the first opening away from the light emitting element to the second opening; and corner facets, wherein each corner facet is positioned over a corresponding reflector corner formed by an adjacent pair of reflector side walls at the first opening. In this way, a photosensitive work piece may be uniformly irradiated while mitigating under-curing and over-curing, and while reducing a coupling optics size and a distance between the light emitting elements and the work piece, thereby decreasing cure times and lowering manufacturing costs.

Abstract: A replacement light tube for replacing a fluorescent light tube includes a bulb portion extending between a first end and a second end, the bulb portion comprising a support structure, a plurality of white light emitting diodes (LEDs) and an elongate light-transmissive cover. The support structure has a first surface extending between the first end and the second end. The plurality of LEDs are supported by the first surface and arranged between the first end and the second end. The elongate light-transmissive cover extends between the first end and the second end and over the first surface of the support structure. A first end cap and a second end cap are disposed on the first end and the second end, respectively, each configured to fit with a socket for a fluorescent light tube. A power supply circuit is configured to provide power to the plurality of LEDs. The plurality of LEDs are arranged to emit light through the elongate light-transmissive cover and at least a portion of the power supply circuit is packaged inside at least one of the end caps.

Abstract: A light-emitting device package and an electronic apparatus are discussed.
