Abstract:
The present disclosure discloses a method and an electronic device for realizing remote control of call transfer, including: receiving a message sent by a third-party mobile phone; analyzing the content of the message, and judging whether it is a request for initiating call transfer; acquiring a password for initiating call transfer according to the message; determining whether the password for initiating call transfer is correct, if yes, initiating a call transfer mode; if not, sending a failure of call transfer request back to the third-party mobile phone. Therefore, by the method and the system for realizing remote control of call transfer, the problem in prior art that a call transfer function of a mobile phone that is left at a place can only be opened by manually calling the operator may be solved.
Abstract:
Exemplary methods and systems for facilitating SMS data transfer services in mobile devices are described. An exemplary method includes sending a first SMS message to a device with a payload of the first SMS message including machine-readable information. Next, a second SMS message may be received from the device with a payload of the second SMS message including machine-readable information. The first or second SMS message payloads may include, for example, a synchronization message, a call message, call data, or a scheduling message.
Abstract:
There is provided a telephone that is capable of accessing a memory for storing subscription information that includes a phone number. The telephone comprises, among other things: a searching unit that searches the memory for second subscription information that is different from the first subscription information selected by the selecting unit; an obtaining unit that obtains a first phone number included in the first subscription information and transfer source information that enables a call transfer server of a network operator associated with the second subscription information to identify a second phone number included in the second subscription information; and a sending unit that sends, to the call transfer server, a call transfer request for requesting the network operator to transfer a call addressed to a phone number, which is identified by the call transfer server based on the transfer source information, to the first phone number.
Abstract:
A system for (and a method of) selectively establishing communication with one of plural devices associated with a single telephone number is provided. In a preferred embodiment, the system includes a wireless connect unit connected between an enterprise private branch exchange (PBX) network and a public switched telephone network. The wireless connect unit preferably serves as a gateway between the PBX and one or more remote communication devices. The remote devices can be used as standard PBX office telephones for both inbound and outbound telephone calls. Thus, features of the PBX network (e.g., voice mail, direct extension dialing, corporate calling plan, etc.) are available to the remote device even though they are not physically connected to the PBX. When the system receives an incoming call, it can route the call to an office telephone and one or more of the remote devices simultaneously or as desired by the user.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for providing rapid call-forwarding are described. The method includes receiving a feature code operable for activating a call-forwarding service, receiving a forward code assigned to a target address, such as a dialing number, recognizing the feature code and the forward code, and forwarding incoming calls to the target address. The method further comprises receiving call-forwarding logistics and generating a call-forwarding record. The system for providing rapid call-forwarding includes a switch operable for receiving a selection by a subscriber of a feature code and a forward code, wherein the feature code is used to activate a call-forwarding service and the forward code is used in the place of a target address, a call-forward control computer operable for storing and recognizing the feature code and the forward code, and a call connector operable for executing the rapid call-forward service.
Abstract:
A system for (and a method of) selectively establishing communication with one of plural devices associated with a single telephone number during a disaster or disaster recovery period. The method can offer disaster recovery to an enterprise depending upon its size, financial well-being and desired capabilities. For example, the enterprise has the option of owning or renting all of the equipment required so that it may perform disaster recovery on its own and with little outside intervention. The enterprise may own some or none of the necessary equipment and contract with a service bureau so that the bureau provides recovery equipment when needed. The system also provides for roll call, priority preemption and seamless switching services to and from circuit and packet communication devices.
Abstract:
The present application allows two-way communication between a remote client and a mobile device, such as a mobile phone. User's can be informed of phone events in real time, regardless of their proximity to the mobile device. A two-way communication link allows a remote client to communicate back to the mobile device to leverage the capabilities of the mobile device. For example, a mobile device can be controlled remotely to send a text message. In this way, third parties receive a text message from the mobile device itself, even though it is not in the user's possession.
Abstract:
A system includes a server including one or more databases for storing one or more handling rules specifying handling of incoming telephone calls; an intermediary routing control unit configured to access the one or more databases responsive to an incoming telephone call and provide the one or more handling rules to a switch control unit for handling routing of the incoming telephone call, said switch control unit being on a signaling path of the incoming telephone call; wherein the server and intermediary routing control unit are external said signaling path.
Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a communication system capable of switching between a terminal for making a call via a mobile telephone network and a terminal for making a call via the Internet without a bothersome operation. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A mobile terminal ((A) 1-1) is connected to the router (3) via the radio LAN function and connected to a personal computer ((A) 2-1) and the Internet network (100) via the router (3). The mobile terminal ((A) 1-1) is connected to a mobile terminal ((B) 1-2) via a mobile telephone network (200) by the radio modem. The personal computer ((A) 2-1) has a function for performing the Internet telephones via the Internet network (100) and is radio LAN-connected to the mobile terminal ((A) 1-1) via the router (3). The personal computer ((A) 2-1) controls the mobile terminal ((A) 1-1) which is radio LAN-connected via the router (3) so as to originate and receive the Internet telephone and voice communication via the mobile terminal ((A) 1-1).
