摘要: A system and method configured to provide limited-time events to users in an online game. The system and method may include executing an instance of an online game and effectuating presentation of offers to users to activate a limited-time event within the online game. Activation of the limited-time event may enable users to perform event runs through the limited-time event for a duration. The execution of event runs through the limited-time event in response to user commands received from a client computing platform associated with the user may deplete the virtual resource in an inventory of the user. The system and method may maintain inventories of the users and recharge the virtual resource as a function of time. The performance of users may be assessed and awards may be distributed to the users based on the assessment of their performance during the event runs. The system and method may include effectuating exchanges by the users of virtual items for the first virtual resource.

摘要: The present invention allows a gain control to be appropriately effected even when a frame including no preamble signal block is used for wireless communications. The following processes are effected in a transmission power control unit 106 of a transmission unit. Specifically, an automatic transmission gain control unit 201 multiplies a transmission signal by a gain value that is the difference between the power of a signal loop-backed from a power amplifier 109 and the power of the transmission signal. A fixed transmission gain multiplying unit 202 multiplies the transmission signal by a predetermined gain value or by the gain value used in the automatic transmission gain control unit 201 during the preceding frame. A selection unit 203 selects the transmission signal as gain-controlled by the automatic transmission gain control unit 201 in a case of a preamble signal block being included in the frame of the transmission signal and selects the transmission signal as gain-controlled by the fixed transmission gain multiplying unit 202 in a case of no preamble signal block being included in the frame of the transmission signal.

摘要: A method includes receiving an optical signal through an optical link and determining a receiving power for the optical link. The method further includes comparing the receiving power for the optical link to a first receiving power threshold and transitioning a clock and data recovery circuit form a normal mode to a holdover mode when the receiving power is less than the first receiving power threshold. The clock and data recovery circuit, when operating in the holdover mode, configured to hold a recovered clock to a known-good clock frequency. When the receiving power for the optical link is greater than a second receiving power threshold, the method initiates a transition of the clock and data recovery circuit from the holdover mode to the normal mode and reacquires synchronization between the recovered clock and a current rate of the incoming data stream using the known-good clock frequency.

摘要: The present embodiment relates to, for example, a transceiver system capable of notifying a transmission device of an asynchronous state of a reception device with a simple configuration. The reception device includes an input unit, a synchronous-state detector, a resistance-value controller, and a terminal resistor. When the synchronous-state detector detects the asynchronous state, the resistance-value controller sets a resistance value of the terminal resistor to a resistance value indicating the asynchronous state. The transmission device includes an output unit, an amplitude detector, an output controller, and a transmission resistor. The output controller causes the output unit to output a signal constituting normal data including clock information when the synchronous state of the reception device is detected, and causes the output unit to output a signal constituting training data including the clock information when the asynchronous state of the reception device is detected.
