摘要: The present disclosure relates generally to a battery module having a housing and a stack of battery cells disposed in the housing. Each battery cell has a battery cell terminal and a battery cell vent on an end of each battery cell, and the battery cell vent is configured to exhaust effluent into the housing. The battery module has a vent shield plate disposed in the housing and directly along an immediate vent path of the effluent, a first surface of the vent shield plate configured to direct the effluent to an opening between the shield plate and the housing, and a second surface of the vent shield plate opposite the first surface. The battery module also has a venting chamber coupled to the opening and at least partially defined by the second surface and a vent configured to direct the effluent out of the battery module.

摘要: A manufacturing method for providing a corrosion prevention layer on a cylindrical secondary battery including a jelly-roll type electrode assembly having a structure in which a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator interposed therebetween are wound in one direction based on a winding axis, a battery can accommodating the electrode assembly and the battery can including a metal plated layer, and a connection lead plate joining the battery can and the electrode assembly, of which the method includes applying a resin to a portion where the metal plated layer is welded to the connection lead plate, and forming the corrosion prevention layer by curing the resin by ultraviolet rays. The resin includes one or more liquid materials. The one or more liquid materials are ultraviolet curable. The one or more liquid materials have a viscosity of 1 cP to 5000 cP.

The first electrode terminal is electrically connected to the first electrode tab. The second electrode terminal is electrically connected to the second electrode tab.

摘要: The present invention offers some general specifications for the design, assembly, and adaptation of a rotating cylinder electrochemical cell into an autoclave, of a high temperature and pressure system for corrosion studies that simulate operating conditions in pipelines, as well as the operation and safety of an autoclave to evaluate the electrochemical process of metal surfaces exposed to aggressive aqueous solutions. The electrochemical cell consists of an array of three electrodes that include a rotating cylinder electrode designed to operate hermetically, a reference electrode and an auxiliary electrode. The rotating cylinder electrode is considered to be the working electrode, where the oxidation and electrochemical reduction processes are studied. However, the use of the method described in this work can be extended to other testing environments and materials by taking into account the physical and chemical properties of the fluids and materials to be used in order to avoid any risk for the operator.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to an electrode lead for an electrochemical device, including a nickel plating layer disposed on the surface of a metallic terminal, having a surface irregularity structure on the nickel plating layer, and including a polar group-containing coating layer. The present disclosure also relates to an electrochemical device including the electrode lead. The electrode lead for an electrochemical device provides increased binding force between the electrode lead and the lead film by increasing the contact area between the electrode lead and the lead film, while not causing damages upon the surface of the electrode lead.

摘要: The present invention provides a battery, comprising a case, a cell packaged in the case, an electrical terminal located at one end of the case and electrically connected to the cell, a safety device and a current cut-off device. The safety device comprises a first and second electrode respectively electrically connected to a positive electrode or a negative electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode are arranged spaced apart from each other and form an electric field, and a gas generating material capable of generating an inert gas when a voltage reaches or exceeds a threshold value is provided in the electric field. The current cut-off device is electrically connected between the cell and the electrical terminal and is capable of causing a brake of circuit in response to a pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the battery caused by the inert gas.
