Abstract: Systems and methods for classifying a test object are provided. For each respective target object in a plurality of target objects, a first procedure is performed comprising (a) posing the test object against the respective target thereby obtaining an interaction between the test and target, and (b) scoring the interaction with a first classifier. Each such score across the plurality of targets forms a test vector that is inputted into a second classifier thereby obtaining an indication of a target object. The second classifier is trained on training vectors, each being the output from instances of the first classifier after inputting a corresponding training object in a plurality of training objects in accordance with the first procedure. Each object in one subset of the training objects is uniquely associated with one of the targets. Another subset of the training objects is not associated with the targets.

Abstract: Provided herein are methods for design of engineered polypeptides that recapitulate molecular structure features of a predetermined portion of several reference protein structures, e.g., related antibody epitopes or protein binding sites. A Machine Learning (ML) model may be used to generate engineered polypeptides. After substituting target residues for corresponding residues in other reference structures in the same scaffold, the scaffolds with each set of target residues may be filtered by structural comparison to identify generalized scaffolds. Generalized scaffolds may be improved by screening libraries of polypeptides.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a genomic selection (GS) breeding chip of Huaxi cattle and use thereof, and relates to the technical field of molecular breeding. The present disclosure provides a molecular marker combination for whole-genome genotyping of Huaxi cattle, where a genotyping object involves 112,177 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and 3 Indels, including seven marker panels in total. In the present disclosure, a genome-wide breeding chip constructed with the molecular marker combination has functional relevance, pertinence and effectiveness, innovation, comprehensiveness, practicality, and cost-effectiveness. This breeding chip also shows uniform distribution of chromosomes in the whole-genome, high coverage, and moderate throughput of markers. This breeding chip has desirable compatibility with existing commercial chips and high cost performance.

Abstract: Compositions and methods useful for delivery of targeted therapies for pulmonary arterial hypertension, sepsis, cancer and cachexia. The compositions and methods are based on peptide pharmacophores that selectively bind to and home to diseased tissue and enable targeted therapies to affect a beneficial therapeutic result. Peptide pharmacophores may selectively target tumor vasculature, regenerating tissue, wounded tissue, inflamed tissue, fibrotic tissue, remodeled tissue, tissue characterized by elevated heparanase levels, and have the ability to internalize into such diseased cells.

Abstract: Predictive engineering of a sample derived from a genetically optimized non-human donor suitable for xenotransplantation into a human having improved quality or performance is described. A training data set is constructed from a series of libraries, including at least one library comprising genomic, proteomic, and research data specific to non-humans. A predictive machine learning model is developed based on the constructed training data set and utilized to obtain a predicted quality or performance of a plurality of sequences for a candidate sample from the non-human donor specific to a human patient or patient population. A subset of sequences is selected for evaluation from the plurality of sequences based on the predicted quality or performance and candidate samples are designed derived from the non-human donor using the selected subset of sequences.
