Abstract: A display includes a plurality of panel displays arranged in rows and columns. The plurality of panel displays includes a set of main panels and a set of slave panels. The rows are divided into a top section and a bottom section. The top section has a main top section row and the bottom section has a main bottom section row. Each of the panel displays of the main top section row and each of the panel displays of the main bottom section row are main panels, and each of the panel displays of the other rows in the top section and the bottom section are slave panels. Each row in the top section and the bottom section is coupled to a power supply through a corresponding breaker. The main top section row and the main bottom section row are coupled to a data line. Each of the main panels feeds data vertically to slave panels of the top section that are in the same column as a corresponding main panel. Each of the slave panels has a data connection directly to exactly one main panel.

Abstract: In one embodiment, modular light emitting diode (LED) display panel includes a plurality of LEDs is attached to a printed circuit board. A power supply is coupled to the plurality of LEDs and configured to receive direct current (DC) power. A scan controller is coupled to the plurality of LEDs, where the scan controller is configured to control operation of the plurality of LEDs in order to display received media. A housing is attached to the printed circuit board, and includes an outer major surface of the modular LED display panel and is configured to be exposed to an external environment without a protective cabinet. A waterproof integrated data and power connector is electrically coupled to the power supply, the scan controller, and to the plurality of LEDs. The modular LED display panel has an ingress protection rating of IP 65 or higher, and is cooled passively without fans.

Abstract: A capacitive sensor (20) includes a capacitive sensor field (2), the capacitive sensor field (2) having a plurality of discrete electrodes (4) which are coupled to discrete leads (8). The capacity (Cf1, Cf2) of the first electrode (41) or of the second electrode (42) is determined using a predetermined calculation formula which takes the first signal (Cm1), the second signal (Cm2) and the capacitive coupling between the second electrode (4) and the first lead (8) coupled with the first electrode (41) into account.
