Abstract:
A wheel rotation imaging control system, including: a wheel rotation imaging apparatus, which can display images during wheel rotation; and a data processing apparatus, which can establish a connection with the wheel rotation imaging apparatus, process data related to the wheel rotation imaging apparatus, and control the wheel rotation imaging apparatus to image. By means of wireless connection, the present application can realize non-contact remote reading and configuration of internal parameters of a wheel rotation imaging device, remote control of media playback, and the like.
Abstract:
A signage support for vehicle tires for attaching objects such as signage to the sidewall area of unmounted vehicle tires. The signage support for vehicle tires generally includes a cross member having a first end and a second end, a first connector attached to the first end and a second connector attached to the second end. The first connector and second connector are configured to connect to the inner edge of the side opening of a vehicle tire. The cross member is configured to extend or retract to allow for connection to various sizes and types of vehicle tires. Signage or other objects are attached to the cross member or extended members extending from the connectors.
Abstract:
A vehicle display device includes a display surface, a wireless receiver to communicate with a source, and a processing resource that receive content from the source. A coupling mechanism is provided with the display surface to attach the display surface to the vehicle to overlay or replace a surface of the vehicle.
Abstract:
An assembly for attaching an emblem onto the front face of an airbag storage enclosure cover has a plurality of attachment posts that project from the back surface of the emblem and extend through the cover from the front face to terminate in free ends remote from the emblem. An attachment backing sheet is positioned against the rear face of the cover, whereby the attachment posts also extend through the attachment backing sheet with the free end of each positioned on the side of the attachment backing sheet opposite from the cover. A plurality of radially-enlarged attachment nuggets are formed or joined individually in a one-to-one association to the free end of the attachment posts, and each of the attachment nuggets is secured to the backing sheet in proximity to the associated attachment post. The attachment backing sheet thus tethers each of the attachment nuggets to the cover in the event of the mechanical failure of an associated attachment post. The attachment nuggets may be integrally formed with or bonded to the free ends of the attachment posts. If the attachment backing sheet is made of a porous material, such as a fabric, a mesh, or a screen, the material of the attachment nuggets permeates pores in the material of the attachment backing sheet in proximity to each associated attachment post. If the attachment backing sheet is made of a plastic material, the attachment nuggets are bonded with adhesive to the attachment backing sheet.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a system which integrates unique lighting technologies, switching systems, mounting systems, information delivery systems and power supply systems within a support such as vehicular wheel to provide an advanced, high quality visual display apparatus in various surfaces of rotation. A displayed image may be three dimensional. These technologies, and their many unique applications, provide for a novel and useful series of video display devices that are small, lightweight, efficient and can have the capability of producing a clear, bright, high definition image that is equivalent to that of a modern day TV or high quality computer monitor.
Abstract:
A light display is mounted on the spokes of a rotating bicycle wheel. The display includes a plurality of individual arrays of lights forming a set. The set of arrays are attached together into a single rigid light display apparatus attached to a spoke of the wheel at the tip of each array of lights. At least one sensors on the apparatus, senses the angular velocity and angular position of the rotating wheel. A microprocessor, is mounted on one of the arrays of lights and connected to the sensor, and is further connected to a shared electrical bus which traverses every array of lights. The shared electrical bus is formed by the electrical connection of all the arrays of lights in a line or loop topology. Each array of lights has at most two connection points to the shared electrical bus. The microprocessor modulates the plurality of arrays of lights via the shared electrical bus and without a direct connection to every array of lights. The arrays of lights are modulated according to a selected one of a plurality of display patterns and the sensed angular velocity and position of the rotating wheel, to form a stabilized, upright, forward-reading image on both sides of the wheel using persistence of vision of a viewer.
Abstract:
A two-way see-through banner. The two-way see-through banner includes a first side having a first image printed thereupon, a second side having a second image printed thereupon, and a plurality of perforating holes through the banner. The perforating holes are created only after the first image and the second image have been printed on the first and second sides of the banner.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a selectively attachable wheel cover for a motor vehicle. The invention comprises a base member and a display member. The base member is selectively secured to the vehicle rim and the display member is rotatably mounted relative to the base member such that it can rotate in relation to the base member and, thus, the vehicle rim. In one aspect, a portion of the display member is sufficiently weighted such that, when the rim rotates (when the vehicle is in motion) the display member remains substantially static.
Abstract:
Apparatus for alerting and/or reminding a truck driver of type of material being transported includes a base member having a plurality of first portions of a warning sign disposed thereon. Printed material is disposed on both sides of all but one side of one of such plurality of first portions of such sign. Another plurality of second portions of the sign is disposed on such base member. An edge of the plurality of such portions of the sign is aligned with an edge of such plurality of second portions of the sign. Printed material is disposed on both sides of all but one side of one of the plurality of such second portion of the sign. A mechanism engages engageable the base member, the plurality of first and second portions of the sign to enable flipping respective ones of the first and second plurality of such signs to display printed material.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for displaying an image on a rotatable wheel. A computer processing system is mounted on an inward face of an overcap mountable on the rotatable wheel. Light emitters are mounted on an outward face of the overcap, the light emitters responsive to light emission signals from the computer central processing system. A slip ring assembly is axially mounted on an inward face of the rotatable wheel, the slip ring assembly adapted to provide electrical power to the computer processing system. A trolley assembly is fixedly mounted to a chassis such that the trolley assembly is axially aligned with the slip ring assembly, the trolley assembly adapted to couple the electrical power to the slip ring assembly. Displayable image signals are provided to the computer processing system, the computer processing system adapted to transmit the light emission signals corresponding to the image to the light emitters.
