摘要： A method for contactless payment relay attack protection includes receiving an online authorization request including a cryptogram, a measured processing time, and a reference processing time from a terminal. The cryptogram is verified, and a determination is performed as to whether the measured processing time exceeds the reference processing time. An online authorization response authorizing or declining a monetary transaction is transmitted, based on the determination. An artificial intelligence transaction analysis can be performed based on past and current conditions (e.g., battery level, operating system, open applications) of a payment device such as a mobile phone, past and current conditions of a terminal, and/or a monetary amount. The online authorization response can be based on the artificial intelligence transaction analysis.

The method includes the steps of displaying a first encrypted two-dimensional code at the output interface of the first electronic device, reading the first encrypted two-dimensional code with the input interface of the second electronic device, and decrypting the first two-dimensional code with the second electronic device, generating a second encrypted two-dimensional code with the second electronic device, and displaying the second encrypted two-dimensional code on the output interface of the second electronic device, reading the second two-dimensional code encrypted with the input interface of the first electronic device and decrypting the second two-dimensional code with the first electronic device and generating an action on the first electronic device based on the second decrypted two-dimensional code. The second two-dimensional code is a plurality of two-dimensional codes.

In some embodiments, the account card may include one or more sensors and processing capabilities sufficient to store a motion pattern, detect a motion pattern representing movement of the account card, compare the detected motion pattern to the stored motion pattern, and activate one or more functions of the account card based on the comparison. In some embodiments, the one or more functions may relate to account information communication, such as writing a magnetic stripe, unblocking a magnetic stripe, activating a near field communication chip, displaying an account number, providing power to an antenna, or otherwise enabling communication of the account number based on the capabilities of the card.

摘要： A payment card (e.g., credit and/or debit card) is provided with a magnetic emulator operable of communicating information to a magnetic stripe reader. Information used in validating a financial transaction is encrypted based on time such that a validating server requires receipt of the appropriate encrypted information for a period of time to validate a transaction for that period of time. Such dynamic information may be communicated using such an emulator such that a card may be swiped through a magnetic stripe reader—yet communicate different information based on time. An emulator may receive information as well as communicate information to a variety of receivers (e.g., an RFID receiver).

摘要： A method, programmed medium and system are provided for using a payment card with an embedded RFID device. In one example, a cellular telephone or other wireless device is used to generate a one-time password (OTP), which is then transmitted by a read-write RFID in the wireless device to the read-write RFID which is embedded within a payment card. The user's phone or other wireless device then activates the writing of the OTP to the RFID of the payment card. The payment card, with the one time password now saved in the card, is then handed to the waiter or store clerk for payment approval and/or further processing. The user's OTP is then read by the merchant's RFID reader and transmitted to an approving agency/server for approval or disapproval of the user's purchase.

A multiple layer flexible PCB may be fabricated to include multiple magnetic emulators. An emulator may include a coil that includes magnetic, ferromagnetic, or ferromagnetic, material in the coil's interior. Coils may be associated with zones. As a read-head is detected to move from zone-to-zone, coils may be activated to transmit information in those zones.

The emulator may transmit the information in order to reduce the amount of circuitry needed to emulate a particular block of information. Additionally, coding schemes may be selected via buttons. Furthermore, a card may be locked until a private number is entered into a card or a number may only be generated (e.g., displayed and/or emulated) once a particular private number is entered into a card.

摘要： A method and apparatus is provided for verifying the validity of ID cards. A card reading device reads an ID card and transmits a request to a database server. A database is queried and a reply is sent back to the card reading device indicating whether the ID is valid. If desired, the reply can include additional information, such as a description of the ID holder. The ID verification system can be used to help verify whether an ID belongs to the ID holder. The system can also log and timestamp events for future access.
