Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure relates to a method of room layout, an electronic device and a computer readable storage medium. The method includes: collecting a current frame RGB image, and acquiring a depth map corresponding to the current frame RGB image and pose information of a head mounted device; detecting and determining at least one object in the collected current frame RGB image; and associating the at least one object in the current frame RGB image, the depth image and the pose information with a room layout map corresponding to a previous frame RGB image, and generating a room layout map corresponding to the current frame RGB image for enabling a user to calibrate and create a rendering based on the room layout map corresponding to the current frame RGB image.

Abstract: A payment processing method uses a credit push for completing a transaction at a terminal device. The process can include scanning an optical code at terminal device using a mobile device to determine creditor bank information. A debtor bank server receives the creditor bank information and provides a credit push request to a payment rail. The payment rail communicates a credit payment transaction request to a creditor bank sever. The creditor bank server identifies the terminal device and instructs completion of the transaction at the terminal device in an amount corresponding to the credit push request. The transaction is initiated at the terminal device. An authentication procedure for facilitating the transaction by communicating the creditor bank information is performed by the mobile device and not by the terminal device.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus and computer software are provided for authorizing an EMV transaction between a user device and a point of sale terminal, particularly, but not exclusively, in situations where a secure element is not made available for the deployment of a payment application on the user device. The payment application is instead deployed to a processing environment that is outside of any secure element on the user device. An ICC Master Key corresponding to the payment application is held by a trusted authority, such as the issuing bank. The trusted authority is adapted generate time-limited session keys on the basis of the ICC Master Key and distribute session keys to the payment application. Receipt of a session key by the payment application enables the payment application to conduct an EMV payment transaction. The session key is used to authorize a single EMV payment transaction.

Abstract: Aspects described herein may allow for prompting a user to access an on-line tool to create an identification element to be added to an exterior surface of a personal card. A server device may prompt the user to select a location for the identification element from a plurality of pre-selected locations on the personal card, each of the plurality of pre-selected locations being proximate edges of the personal card and outward of any of magnetic strips, chips, text, photos, and images on the personal card. The server device may modify an exterior surface of the personal card to include the identification element at the selected location, and deliver the personal card to the user.

Abstract: A method and corresponding electronic device for securing the device. The device and method may include operations for: receiving a command requesting a modification of an operating parameter of the electronic device (C2); detecting whether the operating parameter is a parameter that is predefined as a sensitive parameter; and if so, determining whether the modification requested by the command, if applied, would lead to a degradation of the security of the electronic device. The determining may be done by comparing the initial state of the parameter on receiving the command with a new state for giving to the operating parameter in response to the command. And, in the event of the security of the electronic device being degraded, triggering an operation of securing the electronic device in response to the first command.

Abstract: Systems, methods and devices for detecting unauthorized devices at transaction devices are disclosed. A method for detecting an unauthorized device in a card slot of a transaction device may include inserting a card slot insert into a card slot for a transaction device, wherein the card slot insert has a width and thickness based on a manufactured width and thickness of the transaction device, and comprises a first indicator indicating that the card slot is secure and a second indicator indicating that the card slot is not secure. When the card slot insert is inserted to a manufactured depth of the card slot, the first indicator is visible outside the card slot, and the second indicator is not visible outside the card slot. When an object is in the card slot, the first indicator and at least a portion of the second indicator are visible outside the card slot.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods, a system and an analyze server for verifying the authenticity of identity documents and extracting textual information therefrom. The presence of the identity document in a slot of a scanner is detected and three different images of the identity document are acquired when the identity document is illuminated with white light, UV light and IR light, respectively. The images are encrypted and sent to an analyze server which determines the authenticity of the identity and extracts textual information. The analyze server generates an encrypted verification report including textual information extracted from the identity document and sends it to the scanner, which in turn sends a first signal to an indicating device for indicating the state of the authenticity of the identity document and the textual information to a Point of Sale (POS) system in response to verifying the identity document.
