摘要: A method of controlling an inkjet printer when printing on a substrate that is to be shrink wrapped on to an object (10), by loading an image file on to a raster image processor; undertaking raster image processing on the loaded image file to generate raster image data for controlling discharge of ink droplets on to the substrate; receiving an indication of a shape (19) of the object (10); and manipulating the generated raster image data in response to the indication of the shape (19) of the object (10) to alter the distribution and/or size of droplets applied to the substrate to take into account anticipated changes (14) in a dimension (11, 12, 13) of the substrate due to shrinkage into contact with the object (10). Also a printer for carrying out the method.

摘要: A printing apparatus has a plurality of nozzles including preceding nozzles that discharge ink onto a printing medium before ink discharge of the other nozzles, and succeeding nozzles that discharge ink onto the printing medium after the ink discharge of the preceding nozzles, and if the amount of black ink discharged on the printing target region is larger than a predetermined amount, the printing apparatus discharges a smaller amount of chromatic ink than the amount of the discharged black ink onto the printing target region from the plurality of nozzles so that the amount of the chromatic ink discharged from the succeeding nozzles is larger than the amount of the chromatic ink discharged from the preceding nozzles.

摘要: Examples relate to providing synchronized look-up table loading. In some examples, a print job is processed using an initial look-up table in processor memory. In response to the processing of the print job reaching a buffer trigger row of a portion of the print job, look-up metadata is accessed to locate a next look-up table. At this stage, the next look-up table is dynamically loaded into the processor memory as the processor continues to process the print job, where the processing of the print job begins using the next look-up table after a target row of the portion of the print job is reached.

摘要: Systems and methods for providing remote approval of an image for printing are provided. One system includes a processing circuit in communication with an image capturing device that is configured to capture an image of a printed product. The processing circuit is configured to process the captured image into a processed image accurate to within a tolerance in a color space to indicate the visual appearance of one or more colors. The color space is a standardized color space, such as sRGB or CIELAB. The processing circuit is further configured to transmit the processed image to a display located remote from the image capturing device and to receive an input signal from a remote input device to allow a user to approve or reject the displayed processed image for printing on a print device.
