Abstract: Approaches are described for determining facial landmarks in images. An input image is provided to at least one trained neural network that determines a face region (e.g., bounding box of a face) of the input image and initial facial landmark locations corresponding to the face region. The initial facial landmark locations are provided to a 3D face mapper that maps the initial facial landmark locations to a 3D face model. A set of facial landmark locations are determined from the 3D face model. The set of facial landmark locations are provided to a landmark location adjuster that adjusts positions of the set of facial landmark locations based on the input image. The input image is presented on a user device using the adjusted set of facial landmark locations.

Abstract: A system and method for allowing a user to manage transactions in an online credit card application. The system includes a back-end server operating the online application and including a processor for processing data and information, a communications interface communicatively coupled to the processor, and a memory device storing data and executable code. When the code is executed, the processor can link one or more external bank accounts to the online application, provide a list of transactions that were made using the credit card, enable a user to select one or more of the transactions in the list to be paid independent of the other transactions, and enable the user to pay the selected transactions using the one or more external bank accounts.

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods and storage medium associated with traffic sign recognition, are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes an orchestrator, disposed in a CA/AD vehicle, to receive a classification and a location of a traffic sign, while the CA/AD vehicle is enroute to a destination. In response, the orchestrator query a remote sign locator service or a local database on the CA/AD vehicle for a reference description of the traffic sign, determine whether the classification is correct, and output a result of the determination. The classification of the traffic sign is generated based at least in part on computer vision, and the orchestrator includes an anomaly detector to detect anomalies between the classification and the reference description, and determine whether the classification is correct based at least in part on an amount of anomalies detected. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for image recognition in which instructions are executable by a processor to dynamically generate simulated documents and corresponding images, which are then used to train a fully convolutional neural network. A plurality of document components are provided, and the processor selects subsets of the document components. The document components in each subset are used to dynamically generate a corresponding simulated document and a simulated document image. The convolutional neural network processes the simulated document image to produce a recognition output. Information corresponding to the document components from which the image was generated is used as an expected output. The recognition output and expected output are compared, and weights of the convolutional neural network are adjusted based on the differences between them.

Abstract: A graphics processor can include a processing cluster array including a plurality of processing clusters coupled with the plurality of memory controllers, each processing cluster of the plurality of processing clusters including a plurality of streaming multiprocessors, the processing cluster array configured for partitioning into a plurality of partitions. The plurality of partitions include a first partition including a first plurality of streaming multiprocessors configured to perform operations for a first neural network, The operations for the first neural network are isolated to the first partition. The plurality of partitions also include a second partition including a second plurality of streaming multiprocessors configured to perform operations for a second neural network. The operations for the second neural network are isolated to the second partition and protected from operations performed for the first neural network.

Abstract: A configuration system may generate synthetic datasets based on machine learning, and may provide the synthetic datasets in order to configure, train, test, and/or otherwise modify operation of network equipment and/or other devices. The configuration system may receive a sampling of data used by the particular network equipment, and may determine parameters that define values for the variables represented in the sampling. The configuration system may generate different datasets based on the parameters, and may determine an accuracy of each dataset to the sampling based on the values of each dataset conforming by different amounts to the parameters that define the values for the variables represented in the sampling by different amounts. The configuration system may modify the network equipment operation using the values from a particular dataset in response to determining that the accuracy of the particular dataset is greatest to the sampling.

Abstract: An endpoint coupled in a communicating relationship with an enterprise network may include a data recorder configured to store an event stream of data indicating events on the endpoint including types of changes to computing objects, a filter configured to locally process the event stream into a filtered event stream including a subset of types of changes to the computing objects, and a local security agent. The local security agent may be configured to transmit the filtered event stream to a threat management facility, respond to a filter adjustment from the threat management facility by adjusting the filter to modify the subset of types of changes included in the filtered event stream, and respond to a query from the threat management facility by retrieving data stored in the data recorder over a time window before the query and excluded from the filtered event stream.
