摘要: A technical problem faced when remotely controlling or debugging electronic devices is that remote control or debugging often requires a direct connection. However, debugging ports are inaccessible on many devices. Technical solutions described herein provide systems and methods for secure communication via existing communication infrastructure (e.g., public instant messenger (IM)), providing various debugging abilities including debugging and file sharing. Technical solutions described herein also provide systems and methods for debugging based on remote device memory state collection and sending for embedded or IoT devices. This solution avoids a hardware debugging connection by using a debugging methodology resident on the device to read and dump the relevant memory, registers, and other device state information in a secure and automated manner.

摘要: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing error detection in a network, and, more particularly, to methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing error and/or fault detection in a network and/or media stream and providing options to address the error and/or fault in the network and/or media stream. In various embodiments, a computer might detect an error in a first network and send a notification indicating that the error has occurred. The notification might contain one or more options to address the error in the first network. The computer, a user device, a service provider device, or a content provider device might receive and display the notification containing the one or more options. The computer, the user device, the service provider device, or the content provider device might then select at least one of the one or more options to address the error in the first network.

摘要: An approach is provided for detecting and analyzing an anomaly in application performance in a client-server connection via a network. A status code of a response sent by a server to a client, a round trip latency time (RTT) of the response, and a time out of a connection between client and server are determined. Using a k-means clustering algorithm, buckets of RTT values clustered into lower and higher values, and running counts and means for the RTT values in each bucket, an RTT value is determined to exceed a threshold value. Based on the status code, the RTT value exceeding the threshold, and the connection time out, the anomaly is detected. Based on temporal and textual analyses of log entries and an environment analysis, candidate root causes of a failure that resulted in the anomaly are determined.

摘要: A system and method for using the system comprising a head mounted device (HMD), a remote maintenance server (RMS), and a control section operable to identify the system under test (SUT) using an image recognition function, to identify a plurality of subsystems (PLoS) within the SUT in a data library, to create three dimensional models of the PLoS and displaying the same on a visual interface of the HMD using an augmented reality function, to connect to the RMS using an encryption algorithm via streaming video or images sent to the RMS, to collect SUT data and external (to the SUT) sensor data, to conduct a prognostics and/or health, maintenance, and/or management (HMM) service on the collected data to determine system health and projected health of the SUT and/or PLoS, to authenticate remote user access to the RMS, to update the data library, and to insert a plurality of (HMM) designators on the visual interface.

摘要: A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for collecting and transmitting diagnostics information via a diagnostic information operation. The diagnostic information operation begins with a system periodically writing diagnostic information such as diagnostic errors and warnings to non-volatile local storage contained within the system. Upon detection of a failure, the user activates an NFC-enabled device (such as a mobile device) and positions the NFC-enabled device within NFC range of the failed system. The failed system then communicates the diagnostic information stored within the non-volatile local storage to NFC-enabled device.

摘要: A computer-implemented system for managing software problem reports includes a registration sub-system to register software developers from multiple different developer organizations; an application store that makes a plurality of applications from a plurality of application developers available for acquisition by members of the public; an application bug tracker programmed to receive reports of problems with applications distributed using the application store, to receive data regarding the problems, and to associate the data with a particular application or developer of the particular application; and a report generator to produce one or more problem reports for a developer that has provided one or more applications, the problem reports including information about the data regarding the problems relating to particular applications submitted to the application store by the developer.

One described method comprises receiving a plurality of snapshots from a plurality of computers, storing the plurality of snapshots in a data store, and creating an adaptive reference model based at least in part on the plurality of snapshots. The described method further comprises comparing at least one of the plurality of snapshots to the adaptive reference model, and identifying at least one anomaly based on the comparison.
