摘要： Some embodiments relate to a cover assembly for use with a vehicular plate member. The cover assembly includes a pad that is over-molded to a resilient member. The pad includes a primary contact member having an exterior surface with a relatively high coefficient of friction and disposed to be frictionally engagable with the vehicle operator's foot, the primary contact member being abradable through frictional engagement with the operator's foot. The pad can also include a connector member that is configured for attachment to the plate member. The cover assembly can also include a secondary contact member between the exterior surface of the primary contact member and the plate member. The secondary contact member is disposed completely below the primary contact member and thereby hidden from view prior to abrasion of the primary contact member, but disposed to frictionally engage the operator's foot subsequent to abrasion of the primary contact member.

摘要： The present invention relates to a device for preventing an external substances from being inserted into the lower part of a foot pedal unit of a vehicle, and the device prevents external foreign substances from being inserted into the lower part of a vehicular foot pedal unit which includes a pedal arm and a pedal combined with an edge of said pedal arm, wherein the invention comprises a body which: is formed as a clastic member that is clastically transformed; is disposed between a lower side of said foot pedal unit and an indoor bottom surface of the vehicle; and is combined with said foot pedal unit and/or said indoor bottom surface of the vehicle, wherein said body is formed to prevent external foreign substance from being introduced to the lower side of said pedal arm and said pedal. According to the present invention, no external substances are introduced to a lower gap between the pedal arm and the pedal when the vehicle is running, thereby is preventing fatal traffic accidents.

摘要： A rotatable grip (ancillary operation member) is provided on a part of a steering wheel body of a steering wheel (main operation member) for turning wheels. When the grip is rotated, a difference is generated between left and right wheels, and a yaw moment generated with this difference can assist or suppress the turning of a vehicle. Because the grip constitutes a part of the steering wheel body, it is possible to rotate the grip to assist or suppress the turning of the vehicle, while operating the steering wheel to turn the vehicle. Because both the steering wheel body and the grip can be operated by the same hand of a driver, operational burden on the driver is alleviated. Thus, it is possible to concurrently provide an excellent operability of the main operation member for controlling a kinetic state of the vehicle, and an excellent operability of the ancillary operation member for controlling the operation of a yaw moment generating device.

摘要： An multi-piece foot peg for use with power sport vehicles such as motorcycles and ATVs is provided that, in one embodiment, includes a base that attaches to the frame of the vehicle and a cleat member that attaches to the base wherein the cleat member may be replaced without replacing the entire foot peg thereby enabling economical replacement of worn cleats and enabling the adjustment of foot peg height and aggressiveness of the cleats. The base is configured to define an opening between two sub-components that extend away from the frame of the vehicle. The cleat member includes cleats and at least one opening between the cleats positioned to facilitate the passage of debris through the opening in the cleat member and through the opening in the base such that debris will not build up on the upper surface of the cleat member.

In one embodiment, the pedal covering includes a plurality of protuberances, a plate including a base that is disposed on the elastic covering cap and which includes a plurality of holes in which the protuberances are inserted. The plate has at least one main projection including a first segment that extends continuously from the base and a second segment continuous to the first segment, the maximum width of the second segment being greater than the maximum width of the first segment. In addition, the elastic covering cap includes, for each main projection, a housing with a groove, the width of the groove being smaller than the maximum width of the second segment, and the groove being passed through by the main projection, with the result that the second segment comes up against the elastic covering cap once it has passed through the groove.

摘要： A vehicle pedal booster includes a rigid support panel with a rectilinear central region provided with a predetermined thickness and a plurality of anchoring brackets spaced from the support panel and positioned posterior thereof in such a manner that the existing vehicle pedal is intercalated between the anchoring brackets and the support panel. The apparatus further includes a mechanism for maintaining the anchoring brackets and the support panels directly and statically abutted against the existing pedal such that the vehicle pedal booster is prohibited from disengaging the existing vehicle pedal during driving conditions. Such a maintaining mechanism includes a plurality of rectilinear threaded fasteners penetrating through the orifices and engaging the anchoring brackets respectively.
